Every time I see her, I can't help but think she's like a British version of Pornstar Lauren Phillips

Government policy on care homes at the start of the pandemic was unlawful. Two women have won their high court case. Yet another appalling decision that cost so many lives and to add insult to injury Bozo later tried to blame care home managers for not following guidelines, absolute twat.

What a silly thing to say. Surely it’s Lauren Phillips is a foreign version of our Angela Raynor now we’ve took control back.

MOVE ON

May be a meme of ‎1 person and ‎text that says '‎When you're worried about the cost of living crisis, but then the Tories change MOTs to every 2 years The ن Of OfTheMemes OfThe‎'‎‎

If the Govt want to raise some cheap and easy revenue, why not just charge all Non UK residents  an ‘entry fee’ at airports?

Apart from work related travellers obvs.

£20 per person would raise a few quid.

They should charge patriots to leave, and UK haters an entrance fee.

patriots shouldn’t want to leave, and haters shouldn’t want to come back

No I think you add the new visa on top?

Interesting one i heard earlier

Now, theres been lots of evidence that crims made hay on govt handouts during lockdowns and its clear many checks werent done

Can see theres loads of reasons why that may have been a necessary evil

However, this is a shocker

The govt are currently fighting a case to avoid releasing a list of beneficiaries of the scheme under a freedom of information request

Ive spent the last few hours trying to work out why theyd want to keep it under wraps

Im at my wits end

Any thoughts?

Because the extent/content of the list would be a major embarassment.

Nope.

Think again.

It is estimated that as much as £17bn of the £47bn the government spent on bounce-back loans for businesses will never be paid back and about £5bn of that is suspected to have been lost to fraud.

Flagged it at the time. Loads of companies set up for fleecing it. Shambolic system that’s been abused. Hopefully some of perpetrators are hauled before the courts.

Did Bolton borrow £5m? Converted to equity now.

Anyone have a clue what happens from here - can we buy the shares back in a few years (for less than £5m if the value of the company has dropped)?

I’m surprised the govt are estimated to get as much as £30 bn paid back,i’d thought if would have been much less due to the amount of businesses genuinely failing after taking out the BB loan.
