Very different me offering my opinion on the bits I’d heard on the bill from the EU threatening legal action, the 2 are hardly comparable.

It’s just hypocritical. You want to justify your opinion based on the information that has been released, but at the same time argue others’ opinions on the same information* are not valid.

Also, as I pointed out, the threatened litigation isn’t against this proposal. The EU have said that they will review the draft legislation and as a first step will consider continuing legal action that they commenced in March 2021 for the UK then breaking the agreement they had agreed.

* I’m sure the EU team will actually have much more information than you have.

Fucking numb Brexiters on Twitter going nuts about the EU still meddling with our laws, completely misunderstanding fact that the ECHR has nothing to do with the EU! 🤣

Even worse is that before Brexit we could legally send them to another country.

I was asked for my opinion and gave it and qualified it by saying I hadn’t read the bill so had to base it on what I’d heard.

I also passed my opinion that it wasn't professional of the EU to threaten legal action without seeing the bill and even before it’s been in front of our parliament, it’s clear to me that the EU have a duty to read the information and facts before throwing out casual threats in the media aimed at our government, those same conditions and reasons don’t quite apply to little old me.

I couldn’t care less what litigation the EU are threatening us with, it’s the same old diatribe from them, more concerned that the protocol is diverting trade from UK business to EU which is clearly acting against the rules in the protocol, we know it the EU know it yet still fail to show flexibility and continue their policy of punishing the UK for leaving.

So basically   , The mob rules ( not the excellent Sabbath album)over the Houses of Parliament.

And we haven't taken back control of our borders because a judge in Strasbourg has stuck his oar in .

Just get the football fixtures released next week , so normality can resume the last week in July

So the flight didn’t go and murmurings now that this government are considering changing the relationship that we have with the ECtHR.

Another grade A 🤪 superstar being rolled out for the cameras at 730 on BBC1 breakfast.

Mounts said it would take up to 15 years for the Brexit bonuses to start landing, so we’ve got another 9 years of this.

Probably Southgate's fault

Cheese, we've had enough of experts, we've had enough of actual historical facts. We deal in feelings and half read snippets of information now.

Get with the times - its the digtal age! Just hunker down in your own information chamber and feel good about how right you are about everything.

To be fair, that quote from Gove has been widely taken out of context.

I wasn't quoting Gove.

And so many more people took him literally.

I have more time for Gove than a lot, I knew a bloke who worked for him and he really is a very clever chap.

Maybe the flight didn't go because the company that had the contract didn't own any planes, stranger things have happened

I'd agree with that. Whatever anyone thinks of Gove, he's a far more capable politician than the rest of the cabinet.

He's a prick.

Ruined teacher's careers over drug use despite admitting to using cocaine himself and has been seen in parliament apparently off his tits.

Fuck him.

Gove is clever but also more than a bit of a cunt.

Gove is a moron.

I think Johnsons retort to Blackford, basically saying that Scottish independence would be crazy as it would introduce a customs border with their biggest trading partner was a bit cheeky.

I also think that Gove is a cunt

Probably didn’t even cross his mind how ridiculous he sounded even though it’s right.

I know this is a terrible thing to admit publicly.

But I quite like Michael Gove 😁
