nice work

Not good that.

The b of e has to step in yet again and either interest rates rocket or pensions tank.

Eventually, this Tory mob will fuck a huge swathe of people very very hard and many of them will still vote for them.

I'm not sure there's much in there that most people who work in business didn't already know  -  we certainly knew leaving would be problematic for many, many years. Only those who "choose not to see" (ironically the self-appointed visionaries) are still claiming that "they need us more than we need them" and that any difficulties are firmly at the door of the EU.

It's amazing that people are surprised that we're treated as a 3rd country, when that is 100% what we voted for

...and still they remoan. Will be interesting if Italy makes the next move. Looking forward to the furore if this comes to pass.

That won't happen - in the same way that when we chose to leave, the likes of Farage inferred that others would follow quite quickly

The Italians need the EU far more than the EU needs them, and they know it. They'd sink without trace if they left. We're struggling, and our economy is much stronger than theirs is. No chance they choose to leave for a long, long time yet, unless they're really fucking stupid and haven't see what's unfolded/unfolding here

You just have to look at the financial bail-out in Greece not very long ago to see why others will be loathe to go it alone. Maybe this is what Sturgeon is looking for because she’d rather the EU be propping up her potentially failing economy than having to rely on Westminster.

Only so many times the EU going to bail out countries… she can’t even join the EU as they don’t meet the entry criteria… and don’t get me started on an Independence Party gaining independence then giving it away…. That’s if ever they meet entry criteria. My view is if any country wants independence, votes for it in sufficient numbers then good luck to them.

They wanted out before Brexit.

And one of the main arguments the 'Better Together' campaign used was that Independance would mean they'd lose their EU membership...

Spurious bollocks as usual from him.

Their mps and activists don't seem confident of victory at the supreme Court.

So they've already announced they’ll ignore the ruling and take the next general election as a referendum.

As it happens, I'm quite sure they'll lose the size of their majority and labour will make some inroads into Scotland.

Which may well help Starmer get a majority then.

Give them the vote…might fix our funding hole if they leave.

Brexit and 12 years of Tory lies and ineptitude has been a huge shot in the arm for Scottish independence. Brexit bonus🇬🇧

I note with some mirth that you are now considered “employed” if you are on the sick, or signed off indefinitely because you’re an alcoholic and need to drink all day.

I prefer to be called self-employed.
