The worst of the lot was that uber-cunt David Davis, he proper fucked everything up, firstly with his massive arrogance and then secondly with the fact that he didn't seem to have a clue how the whole thing actually worked Quote

Can see new rule where a new PM resigns short period after winning the PM election then the runner up automatically takes over… wouldn’t put it past them. I've been assuming the only reason she's still in post is because they haven't yet agreed how to remove her and who to replace her with. Quote

Spider Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 (edited) Like him or not, Hunt is at least answering questions in a calm, boring manner without having to mention his Latin teacher or do some head banging. Fair play. Edited October 17, 2022 by Spider Quote

Fair play. Charterhouse dingbat. I wouldn't trust the bog-eyed streak of piss with my dinner money. More auterity because of massive cock ups - that'll be fun times. If he's the 'grown-up in the room' its offically a reception class. Quote
Casino Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Great start from Hunt Even more evidence of the disaster that struck when Bozo beat him Lots more to do, though Quote

To curb inflation, a more austere budget is what’s required. We’ve just seen the results of a budget for growth at the wrong time. Hunt gave a good performance that should hopefully bring a bit of stability. Quote

It shows how far the tory party has fallen when Hunt becomes some sort of measure of normality. Quote

The public won't stand for deeper cuts - which is why you are hearing the phrase 'compassionate conservatism' being dusted off from the back of the wardrobe. Auterity wasn't right first time round, its been a proven failure which has lead to a lot of the position we are in now. It won't work now. If you are impressed with a man who can stand up and talk without burbling or being more wooden than a coffin, again it shows how far we have fallen. I know I bring some personal feelings towards why Hunt isn't the man to save this country or his own party even with the BSkyB scandal aside, but then I'm sure many Drs and Nurses do as well. Quote
RoadRunnerFan Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Crawley what's your/your wife's beef with Hunt at DCMS? I thought he was okay in health, obviously funding was an issue but that's primarily at the door of Osborne. Quote
