Can't? Don't know about that.

Won't? Probably not as things stand.

That's the debate that will need to happen.

Not an easy one.

More than half of the land is used for agriculture so I’m guessing that will tick both boxes.

Id rather us stop immigration than start building on green belts tbh.

There's huge swathes of brown belt around Bolton Town centre. Places that had shops and businesses in the past but are never likely to again.  Bradshawgate & Churchgate. It looks like they're building houses down near what was Noble house.

Town centres are dying on their arse. Absolutely loads of land for councils to build decent quality houses/flats/apartments that could revive towns across the country.

Squid Javid saying the NHS is “unsustainable” now. Despite all the extra money and all the new hospitals and all the new staff that are definitely on the way.

Another Brexit benefit

They just keep coming

It will be fine when the 350 million arrives. Doctors and nurses are leaving in droves. Why would you stay when the bosses won’t even speak to you for months and then make a derisory pay offer.  There has been no serious attempt by this government to improve pay and conditions, just empty words.

The current Government doesn't want to improve anything, run it into the ground, say that it's unsustainable, and then sell it off. That's the end game

I’d imagine a lot of Tories have shares in big pharmaceutical outfits.

Playing the long game.

Well it was that nutty Corbyn who was the first leader to promose taking on big Pharma with his conference Medicines for the Many speech and cutting into businesses treating shareholders before treating lives.....

just sayin' like.

Anyway - I've just been elected onto the Executive Comittee of the Bromley and Chislehurst Labour Party as Political Education Officer so expect a BIG shake up in South East London.

* All members must wear paisley shirts and gigantic winklepickers to any official engagement

* members are obliged to attend at least one arts performance per month organised by NotInCrawley Events ltd

* meetings will be preceded by lengthy readings from Mao’s Little Red Book. These must be done verbatim and from memory. Any mistakes will see members punished by being made to watch GB News for 24 hours without pause.

It does sound like I'm the local KGB for those who have strayed from the true path. I'm sure they could have given it a better title - its basically organising training and updates on policy. Hence why no one else wanted the role.

It'll never happen, but we certainly do have too many of them, and the pay really isn't very good at all, compared to what somebody can earn in the City.

It'd be too big a reform, and the MPs of course have to vote it through (turkeys and Christmas spring to mind)

So it's not sinister lefty woke, anti-brexit slags that have done this then?

To be honest, I'm surprised that Coutts have broken cover, I'd have thought they'd have kept quiet about it, but I'm glad they've not. I said a bit further back, that I'd not be overly surprised if he was making it all up to garner further attention, he's clearly not totally made it up......but he's also been, it seems, very liberal with the facts that he's presented.

I fancy the "he's been turned down by 9 other banks" is probably a massive pile of bollocks though
