First question on QT tonight is about tackling knife crime. Lisa Nandy gives a fully rounded answer about getting a national strategy going. The Tory minister talks about Sadiq Khan. Who would vote for these fkin idiots?

Carry a knife, get life.

Should be a new slogan.

yes because racism needs to be constantly highlighted wherever it appears in sport. Taking the knee is about players presenting a united front and not about Black Lives Matter specifically.

There was already a campaign in football against racism…taking the knee was utter bullshit, propagated by BLM and  swallowed whole by the gullible.

People are free to do as they choose. It’s one of the benefits of our modern democracy.

Ive personally never taken the knee, but it doesn’t bother me a fucking jot if someone else wants to. Why would it? It’s not like it affects the outcome of a football match.

I don’t like reggae music, but I wouldn’t dream of stopping folk listening to it.

Its a very weird thing to get in a twist about.

That was and still is woefully underfunded, and was generally just paid lip service to. But again, don't let the actual facts get in the way of a good old gullible rant.

You are of course quite correct but the usual suspects on here will disagree.

What negative impacts has it had on your football experience?

“Super great” 😂😂😂 wtf.

I left it to the players to decide and respected their choice. As did Evatt.

Was quite funny watching grown men like yourself crying about it at the time. Boooooooooo

Then desperately searching for validation for their winging years later. In the fckn Telegraph….

I didn’t boo just looked on in disdain while footballers took the knee but didn’t have a clue about what they were kneeling for and what it was really justifying and I didn’t ever need validation from anything or anyone … the gullible sucked it up… sounds like you were one.

Man who never bothered to read why the players were taking the knee, decides to tell them exactly what it was they were kneeling for.

We’re a great country, but we don’t half have some fckn idiots in our ranks.

Aye players who’d never ever even thought of taking the knee then decided it was something that they must do after a US criminal was killed by cops…. I Wonder why they’ve now fucked it off while racism persist , perhaps the gullible and ill advised footballers have finally sussed it. Unlike those who continue to defend it.

Players deciding to make a statement against racism got plenty of idiots in a pickle. Still no one has explained why it was a bad thing. Even if the George Floyd murder was the straw that broke the camels back in pushing the Black Lives Matter issue to the fore and lead to the global movement. The protests weren't just about GF even if GBeebies types kept trying to say it was.

Folk are free to do what they want.

Thats the long and short of it for me.

Whether I agree with or support them is irrelevant. They can still do it.
