When our players were doing it last season, why do you think they were doing it?

Do you think it was for George Floyd, in support of the Black Lives Matter movement ... or as a show against racism?

I only know what the players said, will that be enough to convince you?

You've reached whole new levels of whatboutery here. 🤣

It's really not that hard to grasp. The debate and issues were around long before GF was murdered and BLM hijacked the cause. You really think players had no idea about the NFL movement or experiences of racism themselves ? You've dodged the question twice now love. x

WTF are you going on about 😂😂 yes some players may have known, they didn’t seem to concerned about it though (well apart from a Berlin side) The same goes with all other sports around the world. Then when some guy got dead they all started to take the knee. It had fuck all to do with racism is sport as others and apparently Saka and Rashford have said. Some Clubs and organisations came out straight away and said they were supporting GF and BLM. They’re facts.

Back to the beginning. What I and others have said is the knee started here (not Germany or America) because of GF and BLM ✊🏿. If you think it was for another reason then more fool you. Gullible was the term being used earlier. Toodle pip

There we go 👍Got there eventually eh. Even if it did take a double post.

You're still struggling to grasp that racism in sport and racism in other areas of life are all fairly connected experiences.

We'll save that for another day though ey 🙂 Take it easy x

If only @Mounts Kipper had've typed "thought to" rather than "thought of"

We could've saved ourselves having to wade through three pages of nonsense

Not nonsense though. The movement started here because of GF. His death was the cause here in UK.

BLM was used until others got wise. Then it changed to racism and ALL forms of discrimination.

It became worthless because it literally included everyone. The disabled, Gingers, The fat, Four eyes, People with lisps, The poor, The scouse etc.

Basically no one should say mean and nasty words to each other.

The founders of BLM ran off with all the money. It's no wonder it faded away and most distanced themselves from it.

Oh well.

I meant the tedious arguing over semantics and attempts at point scoring

It seemed pretty clear from the get go the point being made related to the beginning of the taking the knee before football matches in this country

Agree ... points scoring at its finest. Its what Behind The Stands has become.

Sorry I misunderstood.

Missed this news yesterday, its good news, its manufacturing good news and that's what is going to help take the country forward. Well done BAE.

Good news for sure, I hope that secures and creates lots of jobs.

Just making stuff up and arguing against them. Beyond parody.

some will lap it up, they'll still get millions voting for them next year.

They're surely just taking the piss now, and seeing how far they can push it

The seven bins idea was something mooted by defra in 2018. Won't happen.

The meat tax thing isn't a policy of any party, though they've no doubt utilised things like this:

https://labourlist.org/2023/09/our-research-shows-voters-want-to-cut-meat-consumption-labour-policy-must-reflect-this/

Spouting bollocks of course, though it's not a trait unique to one party.

Don’t forget the bit about how they will stop councils from telling how often we can go to the shops.

They’re a bunch of fucking moonmen.

80 seat majority to just outright making shit up to scrabble around for a few votes in the space of 4 years.

It’s quite impressive when you think about it

The Tories will be obliterated at the next election and rightly so.

it's looking that way

I'm not sure I even know what they're supposed to stand for these days. I think the whole "low taxation" and "fiscal responsibility" bit have gone out of the window
