Whey bring it up then?

Because labour are saying they’re bringing it in primarily to deal with illegal migration? That’s been proven not to work.

Where do you live? I see plenty of immigrants where I live just going about their day, not bothering anyone. On the whole, they're more polite than my English neighbours who barely raise a grunt when we pass in the street.

Who’d of thunk it, cheese’s neighbours ignoring him 🙄

Europeans share a similar culture and work ethic, the hordes of people getting brought in now don’t share that and have absolutely no desire to assimilate.

far too sweeping that

we all know plenty brits don't want to work

and plenty immigrants more than happy to do the shit jobs

i've got no desire to assimlate with australians when I go there, I'll just blend in, it's what most folk do

Doesn't matter what measures they announce, it will never go far enough to satiate the hordes of thick racists. Maybe if they announced a series of concentration camps...

The manifesto said something about smashing gangs which is what I described, nothing about digital ID cards

How would having an ID Card, affect your freedom?

I'll let you work it out.

I didn't lose a single thing, I'm actually better off (after initially being far worse off) - although the UK earns much, much less, in tax, off me these days as a result

I completely agree. Things like say, reproductive rights, press freedoms, immigration and civil liberties, LGBTQ+ rights, voting rights, environmental regulations and labour rights.

Thankfully I can't think of any extremely powerful (and bright orange) people who are threatening to take any of these away! 😉

I'm ambivalent about the ID card thing. It seems a sensible move if your priority is to make it harder for people to work who are living here illegally. So I'm surprised the same people who are up in arms about immigration also seem to be up in arms about this too?

Actually I'm not surprised. Keir Starmer could send a supermodel around to individually felate every one of them and they'd still moan that she used her teeth 😁

He's on borrowed time mate. Vultures from his own flock are already circling.

There he goes again with 'thick racists'. He used to be one y'know.

You've not mentioned your plan to open a Chippy there to groom young girls out of though.

So then 🤔

New resident from the serco purchased establishment on Springfield Road adapting to the Blackpool way of life in the middle of a kids dance thing at 8am this morning.

Great to see them adapting to our cultures so soon.

Stop filming and get some flags up

4 years before an election and only 14 months since a huge majority and this is where we are. Just like the LibDeb conference, taking aim at a party with 5 + MP’s

Just tell us what you are going to do and stop criticising others. It really isn’t working.

They're losing the plot, it seems they're concentrating on others rather than fixing their own shit. They're not as bad as the last lot, yet, but they are running them close.

It really could be a decade or so before UK politics sorts itself out. The two main parties are in a state of disarray. I think Starmer is a "decent" enough chap, but I'm not sure he's a decent PM, or had the ability to be so. And if Labour votes think that Burnham is the answer, then they really are fucked, he's a proper "lefty" type. And he's scouse.

They often row back on doing what they said they would, and then look to do something different.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the cards not actually come into being anyway.

I honestly think that that this Labour administration hasn’t understood the difference between opposition and. government. They still talk about the last government and ridiculously, a potential government from a just a handful of Reform MP’s.
Just get on with government for fucks sake!
Actually, that’s not gone too well so blame everyone else.

Spot on.

Vic Reeves would do better than Rachel and a self harmer would do better than the temporary PM

The opposition is invisible,  trying to be reform.

They need to sack of KB, she's beyond useless and offers nothing.

Farage is just milking it and laughing all the way.

Farage is certainly showboating and enjoying the attention, but he won't fancy the top job, others and a new party are lined up.

He's done his work to clear out Labour and Conservatives.

A new leader will emerge, but it won't be Farage

I like Kemi but she ain’t the answer. There are a number of posters on here  who have declared themselves as disenchanted Conservative voters. A right of centre leader could take the middle ground . Unfortunately, I can’t see one.
