but I’m only telling you what buyers out there in EU land are actually doing and saying.

We've seen the same, as well as projects being moved out of the UK and into mainland Europe

Its just tough shit though apparently

Whilst we all bicker and dig deeper trenches

the people placing orders on the continent are still telling me they cannot see any possible buying routes on April 1st.

they don’t listen to our media, only their own.

Therefore, our piss and wind on both side of the debate go unheard and the orders stay in the EU.

what I’m saying is, that simply by triggering article 50, the customer base in the EU has made decisions that last at least a couple of years based on uncertainty.

these trade deals the leave guys are saying would open up a new chapter of wealth had better be negotiated fast, and very fucking well.

if that happens, fair fucks.

but I’m only telling you what buyers out there in EU land are actually doing and saying.

Don't worry Spider, someone who voted Remain has questioned the economic forecasts, so that obviously means the reality is going to be the complete opposite. The orders from America and Australia and Zimbabwe will be rolling in next April. You won't be able to cope.

Ah yes, Mister Andrew Sentance - a man who left The Bank of England in 2011, reports suggest he was ousted under a cloak of secrecy, however certain sources (The Socialist Worker, The Morning Star) claim top-bods at the organisation issued a 'jump before you're pushed' edict after he was alleged to be caught masturbating/ejaculating into a McDonalds Filet 'O' Fish Sandwich, which he was planning to then pass on to a female colleague (allegedly).

But of course, he has no reason to be disgruntled with his former paymasters.

Stuff like this is mainly done by civil servants.

Deals take a long time to negotiate.

Not being a cunt or owt, but I’d want to know who these servants are.

and whether they’re any good.

its fairly important

Virtually every servant is an utter self serving greedy twat.

No matter which side they’re from, left, right or middle, their interest is almost always their greedy self.

Its rare you find a good egg in that chamber, they all piss in the same pot.

Pure greed is what motivates the vast majority of them.

We can all argue on here until the cows come home, it doesn’t make a blind bit of difference.

Expect negotiations to be drawn out more than a spotty kid’s pimples as the politicians make a killing in freebies, gifts, expenses and rent boys paid for by us suckers on here and many more forums elsewhere.

They couldn’t give two hoots about us lot who elect them.

At the end of the day though....we’re Bolton fans so pretty damn fine decent people unlike the twats supposedly looking out for us.

Thank you.

I was thinking the same, one extreme to another, it promotes free market economics so is intrinsically anti-EU anyway.

The whole basis of the EU is promotion of free market economics over all else - hence the FoM requirement. Did you mean what you typed?

Fuck knows, we haven't actually had to negotiate a trade deal for quite some time until this Brexit malarkey.

I have just read an interesting report on the UK car industry. 54% of all cars made here are exported to the EU.  Also, 78% of car parts we import are from the EU.  We export nearly £4 billion in parts ourselves of which 68% goes to the EU.  If we left with no deal WTO tariffs on cars and car parts is 10%.  Ouch.

Who are the exceptions? Can you name them?

Some say the WTO tariffs are not bad yet every country who use them would rather have trade deals.

Fuck knows :D

Id have a stab at Sarah Champion and John Woodcock for starters though....

Lucy Allen as well maybe ?

I need to look further into them to be totally honest.

Apologies, I assumed you'd already looked into them all when you said "all civil servants are self-serving twats".

Yes.  They approve of free market libertarian policies which don't really mix with a membership club like the EU.

You know what I mean pal..I’m confusing myself tonight :D

What DID you mean then when you slagged off "civil servants" in response to a comment about "civil servants"?

Did you not mean "civil servants"?
