Could you imagine the inflation rate if good old “Diane The Drum” did accounts For clarity - she’s known as The Drum due to half of the Labour Party banging her. EU are spouting that more than the hoc. Trying to scare folk perhaps? Fucking pointless now, everyone's made their mind up and aren't going to change their opinions. With a spineless leader, it's slipping.

The party at war with itself, ineptly led, with backbenchers unable to organise sufficiently to change anything - with groups infighting each other... They've been exposed. You know it. For something to be described as “chaotic” it must be compared with something else. For example, the Labour Party. Wait until Corbyn agreed something with Theresa. You’ll be able to see both sides then and make a comparison. As Geoff Boycott always says, ad nauseum, you don’t know if it’s a good score until the other team bat. Farrelli
Public vote now looks favourite and I think the EU would allow an extension on that basis.

We have avoided a disasterous No Deal and that will calm business fears but we will still leave the EU at some point. I said right of the start of this thread that despite the decision to leave that neither side would be completely satisfied with the end result and so it turns out to be. It was always going to be a hybrid solution that will not serve the UK well in the long term. We would be far better off staying within the EU than the likely end game of us being members of a customs union with no say in setting the rules nor agreeing the terms of future EU trade deals that we will have to abide by. What impact all of this will have on our parliament in future GEs remains to be seen but i suspect the last 3 years will not be seen as our finest hours. More like him and less like Soubry, Grieve and other slimy and treacherous scumbags like Cooper, Letwin, Boles etc. and we would be in a far better place. Don't go off too early Gloatius Maximus. It could all still go the way that it should.
