The Sky wouldn’t fall in though would it, in which case what are you worried about?

I’m sure that if the will of the people brings us socialism, fronted by Corbyn et al, you will do the right thing for the country and fully support it

Personally, I will piss and moan if that happened, but I’ve reserved the right to do so as I’ve not been going round calling folk traitors for maintaining an opinion following a vote

Do you want to expand on that?

The will of the people will not bring you socialism under Red Jezza. You know it, I know it, the whole fucking world knows it. If they are in such dire straits right now when their main opposition has been completely hobbled by the poisoned chalice of Brexit, from where do you think 'Corbyn et al' will garner such support? I will predict that they'll get shut of him soon. An electoral liability. Guessing there'll be a big push for Starmer.

You're living in dreamland matey - on more than one subject too by the looks of it.

I’m not sure about them getting rid of Corbyn, as this is a Momentum-led suicide pact.

With the current membership cohort, they’ll most likely replace like-for-like.

Corbyn is a symptom rather than the cause.

I personally think you misread momentum, what they are and what they want - as a whole. They are mainly younger Labour voters who want a non-Blairite Labour party. They are in the main (not all) but in the main, pro EU and the reason they connected with Corbyn (the people not the organisation since it didn't exist) was because he spoke to the grassroots younger end of Labour rather than the electorate as a whole.

But many of the people in momentum know that on the EU and in his leadership Corbyn has let them down. They are not oblivious and not (in the main) marxists.

I don't think it unlikely that Corbyn goes - what follows him will not be Blair mk2 that is for sure but I suspect a more sensible and rounded option will be sought. Whether one exists - I have serious doubts.

The EU haven't blinked once in these negotiations and i very much doubt they will blink again. Leaving without a deal will be the biggest act of economic self harm and take our economy a minimum of a decade to recover.

So far it’s been a piece of piss for Drunker &co, but that will change, we’ll see what happens

Happy to be proved wrong

To be fair though, its like playing poker with someone who's pissed out of their head & keeps showing their hand.

Have you actually read the article?

Thanks for the patronisation fella, but I’m referring to the quote re lack of political commitment in fighting corruption, the meagre amount of money spent on tackling corruption and how a chapter into institutional corruption was dropped.

Hope you understand my thoughts now.

You've had nearly 24 hours and that is the best you've come up with to dig yourself out of the "only read the headline" hole?

Hmmm....

And for further information, I already posted the article last year in this thread.

Go back and look at exactly what I said then about it.

Hmmmmm..indeed, you know it all crank.

What ?

A bit hard to reply when I’m stuck on a roof all day.

Tit.

Had the missus locked you out?  (Joke)

But you can't say you're not guilty of wanting a response to one of your comments from the other side, and then when it doesn't arrive in a particular timescale claiming a victory

Despite where other people might have been

He usually gives it about 5 minutes.

Fully understandable fella, but if you look at my post from last night it says “a timely REMINDER”

Now then, in my book, a reminder is a jogging of one’s memory........and as I’ve said to a certain person, I posted that article originally some time last year.

Hes not replied since as he’s obviously been too busy mopping up egg off his chin, whilst trying to differentiate over Michael Heseltine being suspended or expelled from the Tory Party....incidentally, have you seen how much Heseltine gets off the EU annually in farm subsidies ? No wonder he loves the place.

I once got suspended from Deane Grammar.

I was never expelled from Deane Grammar.

Suspension and expulsion.....huge difference in a normal person’s vocabulary but not in one person’s mind.

My point was more in relation to the 24 hour response and you were doing something else. That could be anything be it work, family, dog porn or worse still the wanderers

I think that this section of the site has become somewhere if there isn't a reply in a few minutes then that person has won the argument because the other hasn't replied despite what they might be doing

Its like a shit dating app whereby if they never reply you claim you never really fancied them anyway

Oh look......I replied originally 13 hours ago.....not 24 hours as fannyfeatures reckons.

Thank fuck bwfcfan5 isn’t really a trained negotiator......all his hostages would have been shot dead already for missing the ransom deadline :D

We know how good your average remainer is at negotiating. Ask Theresa May.

Is everyone on this board patronising towards you, or is it only the people that point out that you're wrong?

The only thing average regarding a remainer is their IQ :D

Watch the backlash now ...

No, no. They are the intelligent sophisticates. We are the thick peasants. We were gulled by lies by evil people. Blah, blah.

These people are the definition of the word hypocrite - wallowing as they are in their long and inglorious history of getting it wrong, from joining the ERM under John Major onwards. Left to most of them we'd now be stranded in the Euro as well. Unbelievable.

Haha.

How am I wrong ?

Did I post the same article last year ?

A straight yes or no will suffice.

It’s on this thread, so please get your facts right :D

No doubt you’ll say you’re too busy etc, but it’s here if you look.
