Did a fine of avoiding the baton wielders walking down in to the park then back up behind the Wednesday fans and in to the Riverside ‘home fans only’ pub. Piece of piss. Missed Kelham Island before the game having been sidetracked by eight different pubs en route, but probably for the best after the shambles on the tram in anyway. Got on at the cathedral at 2.25 and got in the ground 8 minutes in with hundreds of others. Cracking day out though and chuffed for Wilbraham after the shit he’s had. Shout out for Pratley, covered every blade of grass.

Peaked with the album Outlandos d'amour in 1979 with some great singles like "Roxanne" "So Lonely" and " Can't stand losing you", but sold out with their 2nd much poppier album Regatta De Blanc with biz ish singles like "Walking on the moon" and "Beds too big without you" - then subsequently disappeared into obscurity

A one album band imo. but it was quite good fun in 78/79 after years of dross like Abba and Brotherhood of Man etc.

South Yorkshire Police couldn't run a piss up in a proverbial brewery. I get the bit where they held us back after the game, but to do so in full view of the Neanderthals on the bridge so they could then launch bottles at us was pretty pathetic. To then allow us out of the blocker without first shifting those folk on the bridge was a bit dim.

All the way up the street until we got to Leppings Lane Tram Stop you really needed to have your wits about you.

It was like being back in the 1970s... Fucking brilliant! :thumbsup:
