Think of the feelings of folk like Little Whitt when you make these generalised statements mate.

If even a couple of dozen of the 85 dead are down to a serial killer then I would expect a similar number of survivors who were pushed but managed to live and report the incident. The police would then have numerous reports of attempted murder and a description of the same person to go off

 

I wouldn’t have thought that being pushed into a canal should mean certain death even if they are very drunk
