Can’t say I’ll lose any sleep over the initial release list.

Wasn't surprised by any of those. Initially raised an eyebrow re Mark Howard .... but it's correct. 

 

Potting Dervite and Derik hopefully means two quality new central defenders with Beevers and Wheater retained for the squad. 

 

We know there's potentially another announcement to come - it'll be interesting to see whether the above two are kept along with Wilbraham, Morais, Pratley and Henry. Other than Beevers they're all the wrong age - but getting rid of the lot would leave us with a lot to do in terms of sheer numbers of replacements required. One year deals maximum for these though.

Do we really live in a world when 15 players have gone on holiday and are uncontactable.

Not renewing a contract isn’t a sacking

Is it not that players contracts finish at different times? - some at the end of May and some as the end of June?

 

Thus the information is only released as their contracts expire (even though the players already know)

Perhaps a player coach role being offered to Wilbrahamovic.

 

It's usual for the player we don't want to keep to be announced first then those not on the initial list will be offered contracts etc.

Like to see turner get cup games.

And if he can hold his own and we are fortunate to secure safety soonish then a few league games aswell.

we had 13 games after he signed and he played in 2

Appeared so. Iirc correctly he came on against Brum having come back from injury; kicked the ball once and started limping. Could hardly run.

Happy enough to give Wilbraham a deal so long as he doesn’t get much game time. Seems to be a great role model, was supposedly carrying a knock for a lot of the season. Played well against Forest too.

Pity about Karacan wrong place wrong team etc I know some on here love Pratley but please get shut .Cant see it mind Parky likes him would offer Henry another year though.

Think Buckley will come good despite his inability to hit a cows arse with a banjo last season.

His hamstrings are dodgy as fuck and he's had other injuries as well. Confidence is shot to pieces as every time he starts to do summat he gets injured

 

Feel for the lad. He loves BWFC apparently but is a worrier that his injury record gets in the way. 

 

Unsure about him. Desperately wants to prove himself, loves the club, proper speed merchant when fit, but if lacking confidence and injury-prone I worry that it's money that we haven't got being wasted. If we keep him on hope he has a decent run and shows what he can do
