Yes. He also doesn’t really set the pulses racing unless you want to just stay up again

Good players at a decent age in league one and two cost a premium. I'd be looking there, but I also hope we're properly scouring foreign markets. There are few bargains in football, but I don't think there are any in England anymore. 

Brett Pitman from Portsmouth is worth a look, but from the look of it he only plays at Southern clubs!

He seems to know where the net is but fucking hell watched him play on TV he is slow as a cart horse horrible style of running he would not be what I want to see week in week out he makes Gary Madine look like a thoroughbred,  looks like a Sunday league pub player to me and if we signed him I would be looking to send my season ticket back.

The lad at Peterborough Marriott banging for fun, midfielder Carey at Plymouth highly talked about there are players out there

 

Obviously it’s down to money but if the club could stretch to some 500k signings it can be done

 

Think Blackburn picked Dack up relatively cheap been a top signing

i liked the small lad in Midfielder from Walsall (Oztumer i think)  played well against us last season (scored a cracker at the Macron) and has got into the League 1 Team of the Season this season. Mid 20s. Got to be within our wage budget i reckon

yes kept an eye on him for a while. aside from the cracker at our place he pretty much run the game. superb touch and took the ball anywhere. just wonder where he would fit if we continue the same style of football?

Chungy out of contract - come home son (Hope it goes better than Zachs homecoming).

McGoldrick is being released by Ipswich.

Haha, he is slow. Decent record at Champ level though.

fair point on Dack, he does look like he has the quality to step up tbf but let’s see

some work, some dont. look at Clucas. he was at Chesterfield if memory serves me right? stepped up to the championship then the Prem

 

if that approach was taken with every lower league player no one would ever progress

Otzumer is there because hes 5 foot 2, similar to Clough hes a luxury when your away from home and up against it. 

 Along with a target man, a creative midfield player would be top of my wish list. I wouldn't be looking at McGoldrick. He's been a good player but is now in the same bracket as Buckley & Noone......past his best.

 

The 2 i'd like that are vaguely realistic financially & young enough to get better are Oztumor..only 26 & out of contract this summer,  & Camp at Rochdale...only 22, local, but under contract until 2020.

There was a reason karl henry was a free agent in September but that worked out alright in the end

Oztumer is 5’3, can just see PP instructing our players to hoof it to him.

Kante not exactly a man mountain is he. Neither was Alan Ball.

Oztumer is out of contract this summer.  30 goals in 86 games from midfield for a team in the lower half of League 1 isn't too shabby.

if hes any good, and free, he aint coming to us
