AI in Mexico/Caribbean vs AI in Spain is a different animal completely.

Over the pond you tend to get 8-10 "restaurants" serving off a menu.

From my tiny experience - lads trips - Spain/Canaries is just slop.

Found both Turkey and Egypt to be mixed when doing AI there. But don't think I'd wanna eat out in either of those destinations.

Cape Verde was pretty decent, but tends to get boring after a few days. Again, you usually have a few restaurants to choose from, rather than just the main buffet.

Agree with all this.

Our AI gaff in Jamaica was the best place I’ve ever been. 8 or so different restaurants, couple of nightclubs and different themed bars. Different gravy.

Anyone says that AI in Spain is good because the kids can eat ice cream all day is lying :D

We're sailing with Celebrity Cruises.

Great choice, you must try the speciality restaurants

Going AI to the Seabanks complex in Melieha Bay in Malta, they have 5 different restaurants which I've been told are very good

I'm just back from 16 nights in Dom Rep.

Used the buffet restaurant once (for lunch) : utter shite.

Had the other 15 lunches & 16 dinners in one of the dozen-plus a la cartes : which were excellent.

Thanks Victor. Which one would you recommend?

Went to Antigua a few years ago and just before we got there the resort switched from pay as you go to all inclusive. The staff were grumpy as fuck because they were losing out on tips. Near mutiny until the owners came up with a package. Harmony restored.

If they do the dining package try all three

Qiusine is excellent

Beltin'. Thanks.

Interested to know how you get one. Its a property one of our clients sells and it looks pretty decent.

And what's all the shite about kids and ice cream? I fuckin' nailed the free ice cream in Turkey a good few years back. Admittedly they had toffee on every day. Couldn't walk past the parlour without nipping in for one or two scoops!! That was a belting hotel - Ela Quality Resort in Belek.

As for top quality - Excellence Playa Mujeres north of Cancun was bang-on.

Got to agree AI in the Caribbean is at a completely different level. Just back from the Grand Moon Palace in Cancun. Had the buffet for dinner once (which was decent), remainder in the a la cartes which were top class.

They've got loads of yanks going so it has to be top notch.

Can’t for the life of me remember the place we stayed in Mexico but it was spring break at the time and the place was full of COEDs drinking sambuca with fuck all on in the adults only pool.

Was fuckin tremendous.

Coco bongo is some gaff too and every taxi driver at the hotel sold bing that melted your face off.

Just message me ;-)

Haha, spent my 21st at Coco Bongo. To be fair it lives off a past reputation as there are/were better places on that holiday. Great times though. I have never really done the drug stuff, alcohol is bad enough for my little bonce as it is.

Don’t bother with AI; get out and about around St Lawrence Gap
