No more expensive than Florence or Rome, you'll get that in any touristy destinations in Italy.

Agreed

Doing Krakow etc on a stag trip next spring.

Went to Krakow on a stag trip about 5 years ago. Brilliant.

Stag was ginger so we all had to dye our hair to match. I used a wash out in 6 washes variety. Didn't wash out for nearly 4 months - and yes I did wash my hair regularly.

Also went to a karaoke bar and I fell on a table full of vodka whilst singing 'Should I stay or should I go'. Didn't go, Poles were great and wouldn't even let me replace their drinks.

These river cruises are really taking off, we do quite a few of them, although I've not actually sold any myself.

We're affiliated to Inteletravel in the US, but deal with all the major cruise lines through CLIA membership.

Our route is brussels, amsterdam, berlin, krakow, vienna, lake bled, zagreb, budapest. Combination of hostels and a few nicer air bnb’s where they were cheap enough. Gunna be some trip, any reccomendations of must do’s etc. on any of the above muchly appreciated

Pretty much the route I did in 99, went to Malmo and Copenhagen from Berlin. Was ok, shit being a student and skint though. Like to do it with more cash now, sadly when you have money, you have no time!

how many women did you plough on the route Crawley

Bologna.

You can usually sort cheap flights with Ryanair, well worth a visit for a couple of days.

Really compact city centre. Good metropolitan feel to it because of the University.

I had a visit yesterday with the Mrs and two young kids in tow, boxed off most of the sights within half a day of walking and would love to see it again in the evening if we ever get a kid free weekend!

Ditto, if I make any money matched betting between now and then.

Been looking for AI end of Aug next year to coincide with school holidays and the missus' 40th. The prices are simply stupid, talking £3k minimum in some shitty hotel and more like £4.5k for somewhere nicer. Think I will leave the kids at home and take her away for a weekend in Europe.

It is. I had to double check it said Dreamliner and not Little Gem

We're thinking of doing a week in Sardinia in a few weeks (fly to Olbia). Any experience or recommendation?

Tell them that story of when you got mugged! :-)

I’ve read good things about Porto Cervo, might be pricey though, the resort is only about 30 mins from Olbia.

Me and th'enemy are looking at 10 days Bngkok - Phuket - Bangkok in November, any tips?

Open jaw and fly back from Phuket. Easy to do with Emirates. Bangkok is one of my favourites but most don't seem too keen. Bang La road in Patong (Phuket) is possibly the most nuts I've been, close second for Kabukicho in Tokyo. Personally not mad keen on Phuket there are a lot more beautiful places in Thailand but if you're after a party and an easy introduction to Thailand then it's a good choice, although Pattaya might be easier logistically.

Bangkok is my favourite city. If you want recommendation for a very decent well located and priced hotel at good rates let me know will sort out for you as I know the manager (12 times stayed there). Thailand it depends what you’re after. Phuket is nice but varying degrees of craziness. Plenty of other options depending on what you want to do see etc.

Anyone done long haul on own?
