Looking at last minute deals to Aruba for this July, Done Mexico for past few years.

 

Any recommendations if so, only issue is will be a Gatwick flight and last time I did that was to save about £40 on a european tour match.

i went about 10 year ago. Plenty of bars and pretty quiet. Should tailor all needs there and congratulations by the way!

Nice little place is Alcudia,too many mosquitoes for my liking though.

We went there for the day a few years ago when we were down the road in C’an Picafort. Wasn’t keen on the central bit around the beach but the old town is a belter. Shitloads of little bars and restaurants for watching the world go by.

 

I stayed there for a week about 15 years ago but our hotel was near the lake rather than near the beach and it was quite nice around there.

Best thing about alcudia, for me, was that I got back to Puerto pollensa in 10 minutes

The school holiday's are finishing soon, cheap flights and digs in Majorca are looming.

Our peg had a bigger wide on than when she had our second child before we left.

Managed 2 nights in Wales last week, cut short by a bereavement. At least it didn’t piss it down. Managed a bit of kayaking and did the zip wire over the quarry.

There’s talk of a long weekend in Colchester later in the year.

Pine walk just fantastic.

Had a week in Wales this year - was great, campsite wasn’t the best but left it a bit late.

 

Looking at going by to Euro Disney next May, ferry over, a week on a campsite and a couple of days in the park seem the cheapest option. Thankfully Dover isn’t far.

its the big 50 next year for me, looking at 10/11 nights in cape town with the family, got a good deal for flight and b and b, doing all the tourist things while there, cage diving with great whites,safari,robben island,cape of good hope,table mountain, whale watching.
