There’s some really odd folk round here. When I was in lovely old Notlob, we used to manufacture specialised pump drive gearboxes (my very own design) for pea harvesting machines for a company there called Shelbourne Reynolds. Consequently, I spent quite a lot of time down there through the R&D process and, even though I fell in love with the general area (not far from Newmarket and some great little places like Huntingdon) there is absolutely no doubt that there are some really strange fuckers live around the BSE area. Worzel Gummidge-esque would probably get close to describing it.

Growing sugar beet, plucking chickens and slaughtering pigs. Never realised what a moody place Ipswich was until I spoke with some locals today. Serious knife-crime/gang violence issue that never gets reported nationally. Always thought of the it as a "sleepy" area. Not at all
December 7, 20187 yr As absolutely nothing points to a successful result, something is going to give. We'll go two up, get pegged back, then score again.

December 8, 20187 yr I hope for Meldrew, Jnr and the 200+ others that there is a pre-Christmas miracle on Carrow Rd
December 8, 20187 yr Last time I was there was either the Scott Sellars 1-0 or a league cup tie we drew 0-0, can’t remember which was the latter. Dont intend going there again unless we’re on a promotion push. Respect indeed to the travelling foot soldiers
December 8, 20187 yr Have a great trip people, lovely city, with some belting boozers. Let’s hope we can get a result to lift the gloom, though I fear any respite will be very short lived. Get to the games and support them while we still have a club to support. My lot can’t make it today for various reasons so we have focused our sights on a New Year’s Day mini bus trip to Hull. We’ll be dragging our creaking bones round the old town and market areas, starting off in The Minerva (perfect planning prevents piss poor performance an’ all that). Had some rum do’s in this place back in the day!!
December 8, 20187 yr You don’t pick up points at the top of the league when you systematically lose to teams on awful runs. 3-0
December 8, 20187 yr It is a really nice city, fair play those going. I went in a place a bit like Fab Cafe in Manchester last time that did some great food, I'd recommend the name if I could remember it...
