Parky doesn’t do himself any favours. He stumbles across something that works through suspensions (the two Everton kids in central midfield) and then bins it the first chance he gets.  He’s got t

4-3 us

Old joke but......

Imre Varadi, Oli Varadi and Tre Varadi (out on day release) for them

Win this and it’s game on, looking at 4 points from these next 2

1-1

Good record against these in recent years 2-1 Williams, hobbs new owners bounce kicks in

1-0, score early and hang on for dear life

2-1 win then onto Wigan

Win this and it's far from guaranteed, I think we stay up and PP wins manager of the year

1-1, the great escape stalls - followed by an epic 2-1 win at Wigan, the great escape is back on.

I can't see us winning 3 in a row, so I'd rather beat Wigan.

As someone posted on the Millwall thread, siege mentality time. Get behind ‘em and see what happens. Win this one and we’ll win at Wigan. All of a sudden we’re right in the mix.

I'm all for positivity, siege mentality and optimism. It's what keeps us going. But just to put things in perspective, our only 2 home wins since September were against 2 terrible, out of form sides. Sheff Wed haven't lost for 11 games since they got Bruce, and will have Bannan running the midfield. A draw would be a great result to keep some momentum before the 6 pointer at Wigan.

I would be happy if we beat Sheff Weds so at least have a chance to prove you wrong !

You need to focus your Wednesday predictions on horse racing not football. I just need 3 or 4 good priced winners.

There's always one seemingly doomed club which ends up picking up points where on paper, they shouldn't. Why can't that club be Bolton?

It just might be.

Just 3 or 4 for Wednesday? :D

Before Saturday I thought we were definitely down and was all doom and gloom. One win and I'm giddy again thinking we could do this.

1-0 Bolton.

Of all the managers in the championship I detest Steve Bruce the most

That's extra motivation for me wanting us to win

The Clare Balding lookalike

Expect it will be free upgrades as per previous midweek games

just been confirmed

Bruce was appalling at Villa but he's doing a good job with Sheff Weds.

A draw would normally be a good result but we desperately need a win here.

Given his personal circumstances, it's a miracle he carried on at villa. Certainly understandable if his mind was elsewhere.
