mickbrown
Course it’d affect me. It has. However I couldn’t afford to take 3 months off work. You just got to get on with it.

It may well have affected him badly which could have had an adverse effect on his performance, which is the point I was making initially- he did well to keep going. I don't know if it affected his mental health or not, if it did, he did very well. At some point it then doesn't become a choice.
Farrelli
Yep fair play to Bruce for keeping going under those circumstances.

He's a good manager with a good track record but I've got a feeling he may never have won at our place? I'll take a draw

Dr Faustus
sure he won at our place with Brum on at least two occasions?
Burndens Bogs
Can i be the first to say, if we are to have the slightest of survival chances then we need to be winning games like Sheff Weds at home? If i’m not the first to say it then whoever did say it first can fuck off - smartarse cnut. 1-0 home win. Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted March 12, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted March 12, 2019 (edited) Positive spin: over the last six games, from Sheffield Wednesday downwards, only Reading have won more games. Additionally, in addition to Reading, only Rotherham have earned more points. Two of those games were against the top two. On that basis, we're on the way up! jules_darby
Head says 1-3 loss Heart says i’ll be watching in the same bar as I did when we won in the snow last season (Villa?) so maybe we’ll scab another win?! bolton va va
If No one is fit & available, I'd play him in place of Buckley, but keep the rest unchanged. As good as Lowe has been this season, I couldn't drop any of O'Neil, Connolly or Williams after last Saturday's performances. A betting question......I've got Beevers to score the 1st goal & a separate bet that he scores the last goal. If we win 1-0 & Beevers scores, i think i should be paid out twice but my mate ( who is quite clued up on betting ) says they'll only pay out once. Who's right ?
