It was at the front but it's the midfield that's intriguing. And the Ferrari conundrum - leClerc for me is quicker than Vettel but junior in the team. And Red Bull/Toro Rosso - summat's going to happen there soon imo and Verstappen's going to be spectacular

Bang on. Love em. There was a piece the other day, with a grower using a method of cooking them under compression to produce a steak like texture and flavour. Looked interesting- I'd give it a try. Agree re leclerc. Ferrari over the past couple of seasons have made some strange decisions during races.

I reckon Red Bull have something in reserve and he’s going to be fighting right at the front fairly soon

Saw a bit of a race recently and was impressed. Seriously quick, and one mighty fucking crash. Just a high pitched whine as opposed to a petrol engine growl. Off to Formula E next month in Monaco looking forward to it they, shorter track than the full F1 but is full day of activities scheduled from the plan i got. Anyway can't be long til Williams fire Kubica off, I know that Williams is bad but both Mclaren's had 1st lap nose changes and still pasted him last race. MancWanderer
Enjoyed this weekend’s race wtf is happening at Ferrari? Their strategists are being absolutely bummed by Mercedes and the car isn’t living up to its promise Good to see some of the newer/younger drivers getting decent placings Sad to see Williams so shite
Site Supporter Spider Posted April 29, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted April 29, 2019 I’d like Bottas to win the title. proper nice bloke why are Finns so good at motorsport?
MancWanderer
Aye would be nice to see him win it Seem to remember watching a programme years ago. Basically they have loads of open space, the "roads" are ice or shale, and they learn how to control a car at high speed. They get involved in racing at an early age, doing up bangers and racing them, and then move onwards and upwards My cousin rallies a Mark 2 Escort and says that the Finns are absolutely mental. Old blokes like him and they'll stick it through a gap at over a ton that he'd be worried riding a bike through
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted April 29, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted April 29, 2019 (edited) Aye, saw a piece about the Finns a while back. Still want Hamilton to win though. First race I've watched in a long while seems like Vettel was shafted but as he strikes me as a big of a prick it was hard to feel too sorry for him. Moderators Casino Posted June 9, 2019 Moderators Share Posted June 9, 2019 If vettel hadn't blocked Hamilton, Hamilton would've passed him Don't think vettel deliberately blocked him either Difficult one
MancWanderer
Controversial to say the least Had the incident not happened I reckon Hamilton would have had him anyway That said it happened. Stewards were wrong imo. Vettel was trying to rescue his car and avoid hitting the wall. Had sympathy with him until he spat his dummy out. Moving the 1st and 2nd place signs, refusing to park his car where he should have done. Childish. Fuck off you lost. End of. Next race please
Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted June 10, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted June 10, 2019 Didn't see the race, just read it afterwards. MancWanderer
Superb race today Great drive from Verstappen but Mercedes did them brilliantly on strategy Ferraro look well and truly spent
Site Supporter Winchester White Posted August 4, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted August 4, 2019 I am liking the fact there is more challenging for the top 3. Talk about massively messing up, MC leave Honda after a terrible few years then they compete again with red bull.

MancWanderer
Been watching loads of highlights of races from the 80’s/90’s over the past few days. Fucking Hell. Stick shifts. Drivers sat really far forward, slip-streaming, loads of overtaking, no safety cars when cars come off the track. They were fucking mentalists, Mansell, Senna, Prost, etc. What a golden era of racing but can see why the safety regs changed so severely

If you haven’t already watch the Senna film, it’s brilliant
