The fact the EFL have actually declared their plan tells me this is game over.

I think provided we play on Saturday the EFL may wait until after the court case before issuing us the two week notice.  If any more games are called off then I think it will be issued immediately.

If your Ipswich, why would you stand for that? They have had to play 90 minutes tonight, they have a case to be awarded the game rather than be disadvantaged

We did fuck up for sure apart from the fact the EFL themselves should have suspended the game if they bothered to follow their own regulations. As for Ipswich, I think their goal difference would improve by playing the game. 3-0 award if it's not played, and play the game and beat us 6-0 or something like that.

The thing is any side in similar circumstances could argue the same. Our postponed game at Southend a few years ago due to the alleged incompetence of their ground staffordable.   If Bury make it through this they've had the advantage of not playing in a midweek league cup game, something that contributed to us having a heavier defeat than might have been expected at Tranmere.

How we've handled yesterday's postponement was very poor and I'm sure the EFL will punish us heavily but it shouldn't be used as grounds to call Saturdays game off.

The admins fucked up by not informing Donny & EFL first. Lack of courtesy and professionalism if nowt else. Easy to say we shoukd have played it but at what point does giving a young lad a chance become exploitation and dangerous? These lot - admin, FV, Anderson ,Barzini all a set of shysters who care nothing for the football side of things and cant keep expecting a team of 18/19 year old kids to keep bailing them out. Look at subs bench for gods sake we will be down to u-16's next. Do we call it a day then??

now they are going to be let down the road i feel a bit sad. this is only the start. i know their fans are bellends but once we have been stripped of everything this time round when we are next in the shit it will be us going under. its a real shame.

It's actually beyond that. It's a national disgrace. Bad enough the bucket shakers on the brink but FFS, us? Founder members of the league in our national sport? Doesn't bear thinking about.

The entire structure should be shaking its collective head when one weeks wages for an overpaid PL prima donna could be a lifeline for an EFL club like Bury.

The worlds gone fucking mad and some fat cats sat at League Headquarters need taking by the throat and shaking until they have an epiphany and start to put things right. I hear the Labour Party often wanking on about 'root and branch' reform. Certainly needed in English football as a whole. There has to be some balance for the collective good - no club should have to fold when the game is awash with money which is not more fairly distributed.

The administrators called the Doncaster game off and when asked by the EFL why they'd done it, they referred them back to their own decision on the Brentford game.

That's why. The EFL set a precedence previously. See also on the EFL regualtions. Note under 18 equals a child in the eyes of the EFL:

61 Youth Development Rules

61.4 League Child Protection policies, practices and procedures, as advised from time to time by The League, will be applied to all aspects of Club activities involving children. Clubs must abide by the Government legislation that applies to children under the age of 18. The League policies and procedures are set out in the Appendix to Youth Development Rules and shall be issued to all Academy Players and their parents/guardians.

It's a tough one in our case though even though the sport is awash with money at the top level.

According to our administrators the Davies family are wanting £17 million and Ken is wanting £7 million.Can the FA/Premier league really be expected to give us £24 million just to pay off the last two owners  then we can start again?

- 4 teams promoted from League Two
- Bury can apply for EFL status in League Two next season

The "do not reapply" question pretty much answers itself, I'd have thought. The suggestion that they can reapply to League Two is absolute toss though, that simply won't happen.

Edit: He's since acknowledged on Twitter that it won't happen.

i mentioned it somewhere , a bit off handedly ....

For example, major league baseball bought the Montreal Expos when their ownership situation went crazy , i think the idea were to wind them up along with the Minnesota Twins , but someone in minnesota sued the league (i had to look this up, It were the minnestota Stadium's owners), and that stopped it happening like planned. 

In the end the expos owners bought the florida (miami) marlins from the guy that now owns liverpool , who bought the Red Sox , the MLB bought then moved the expos to washington dc and eventually sold them (a few years later mind) to some Real Estate magnate. 

A hard to follow merry-go-round . Made my head hurt and i barely remembered it. 

Be amazed if something similar happened with Us and Bury. Not sure if its useful or interesting or relevant . but it happened. 

Cant see the FL running Us and Bury for years until they find buyers . The administrators might , but the EFL is playing silly buggers after 12 weeks , so imagine what it'll be like after 36 months.. 

Got to find buyers quick , just to stop the football league making arbitrary rules up over who , how , when and where we play football matches.
