Is that true, though? I remember the league saying something along the lines of ‘we’re not arsed who plays, just get it played’ - then the SAG stepped in anyway to save everyone the bother.

Aye, I know. Still thought the league was keen for us to get on with it with anyone who could fill a shirt, but I can’t be certain.

There’s been a lot to keep track of.

But, liquidation and extinction isn’t summat I’d want for them.

Woman from the EFL talking about the Fit and Proper Persons test for club owners putting it back on the clubs saying that the EFL works for the clubs and it is the clubs who decided what should be tested and how. Not sure if it's just slopey shoulders or a statement of fact. Anyone know how EFL rules were formulated?

 No. We go to Bassini, Bin Ladens heir or the fucking Chuckle Brothers just as long as we survive.

Time will give us the opportunity to become a well managed, well run club again one day. The key is survival.

Dale was just on TS asking for donations from local businesses and fans.

Time only works if you have someone running you who is responsible. If you lurch from Ken to Bassini - you end up where you where only in a worse mess. We've seen that here. We're seeing it at Bury. 

 Owners like Ken, Bassini - they are a short term fix but they create longer term problems that ultimately put the club in a worse position. 

It shows how bad its got when Bury could disappear today and its not even the main sports news on my mind.  Every day has been the same for about 6 months.  Parky resigns and its not even registering as important, Liverpool win the European Cup and its "yeah but more significantly what's happening with the takeover".  Anyway this is a Bury thread and I'm rooting for them today, just not as much as I'm rooting for positive news for us.

Dale paid a quid and I'm sure he doesn't want the long term hassle of trying to sell a dilapidated football ground.  He certainly doesn't give a s*it about them but I think he'll walk away at the 11th hour with a few hundred k for his trouble.
