There is a train station 20 yards from the arrivals gate. (Southampton Parkway) 13.25 arrives Portsmouth 14-42 for £10.

You’d be better getting off at Fratton. Better still, five-minute taxi from the airport to Eastleigh station - the 13.28 from there has you at Fratton for 14.07 without pissing about changing at Southampton.

What was the quote for, a formula one car? I checked Uber and it was saying £35-40, so a tenner each, or the trains as others have mentioned.

Be tough this. They nearly went up last year, so not that bad.

They'll fancy 3 points off us, and it is an away game- we've lost each one so far.

That said, keep playing like we are doing and we certainly have a decent chance.

They've won 1 of their last 6 games and sit in 20th. The fans are very vocal in wanting a change of manager (no jackett required) and they're bemoaning the style on football on offer.

Score first and the atmosphere will be toxic.

Let's hope so. Like this front foot football, have a go at them early doors. Sooner or later we'll bag some chances.

We still appear to be tiring late in games, and a lead would provide something to fight for.

Got my tickets. The last time I went to Portsmouth was a FA cup tie in the mid 90's, we lost 3-1, think Preki scored a hattrick for them (he definitely got 2).

I don,t think Pompey fans do toxic.  Annoyingly supportive, in a happy clappy sort of way.  Like they turn up to sing songs rather than live through the ups and downs of the match that's going on.  Anyway hopefully their need to be up for the Southampton cup game will give them a bit of fatigue or minor injuries, as good a time to play them as any.
