Parkinson had us on the pitch celebrating after his first two seasons here. Hill hasn’t won a game yet.

Lets get real. There are good reasons why we are struggling on the pitch but we desperately need a win. And today was simply not good enough.

You need to accept it's about building for next season in League 2 or I can see you slitting your wrists this season.

The irony from someone who defended Parkys dross to the death 🤔

The one game I remember from last year against dross from this division we scored 5

Anyway, it's about where we are now

And today was very disappointing

Maybe it needs 2 strikers or at least not playing a defensive midfielder as the support guy

Let’s have it right, today was the 1st time there has been any sort of expectation and we’ve been disappointed.

ive been pleased with the last few games and our time will come again.
Sure, we’re likely to drop but I just hope to see enough wins to keep us reasonably happy.

ill leave Bristol to the cock wavers but roll on Lincoln

You need to think about the present and future

Today was shit...I've read folk saying they thought we were on top first half

I didn't see it

What I saw was us being in the game cos they couldn't finish

There's mitigating circumstances but there's also questions that can be asked

When i saw team sheet i knew we were in trouble in central defence. For me thats where game was lost though we didnt hsve much up front until Dodoo came on.

We still tried to play football tho and anything like a first choice eleven for Hilly and we would have seen them off.

Amusing to see two of Parkinsons biggest cheerleaders who never ran out of excuses for the bloke giving Hill no such benefit of doubt. Follow him to Sunlun he will be no diferent there. Bad day today but still optimistic longer term

We weren't as good as in recent games, but it was fairly even up to our goal......after that Rochdale pushed forward & got well on top. We're still fading after an hour or so.

With injuries to 4 first choice players, I'm not getting too critical but 2 kids may be the most we can carry.

More worrying is that none of Murphy, Dodoo or O'Grady look likely to be scoring many, though it's still early days for them.

MOM - Lowe or Emmanuel.

Not just going off today but I honestly don’t see Zouma making it.

I don’t rate his brother, even he’s a mistake waiting to happen. Edwards is a country mile better imo. If Hobbs and Wright are crocked for a while, I’d rather a half fit Earl play there

Quite disappointed today - really thought we would start winning games today.

however, no central defenders and a lack of central midfield made it hard.
lot of possession but no real cutting edge

basic mistakes for their goals

20 points adrift now - only realistically building for next season, but the crowd need a win some how or other, just to give everyone a bit of a lift

Zouma lost his rag when he had that agro that started in the left back position. I think he's quite good technically, physically no problem, it's his decision making that lets him down. That will come with time.

Can't see Hill continuing to give him the game time he needs of he's going to continue to make such big mistakes at crucial times. Might need a loan if we get all our centre backs fit. Wouldn't be writing him off though - Jesus he's still a young lad learning his trade. And he's got talent - he just needs to learn he's not Franco Baresi.

You are right, questions can be asked... Just a bit hard to swallow from someone who wouldn't hear a word of criticism of Parky.

Mr Phillips

Parkinson sending division 3 teams out last season had no chance

Today we had players much nearer to the level of the other team

And we were well beaten

I've accepted the centre backs were an issue

Missing Bridcutt was an issue

But we were second best all game

I've missed one game all season and today was the first time I've been critical

It's disappointment as much anything

We probably had our first choice front line out and it was close to  toothless

Maybe I've realised we are going down

The fucks going on with that away end?

Was driving down COR at half 2 and it was mentioned on GMR that the M61 was closed just before Westhoughton junction so I assume a few of the Rochdale fans were in a prime spot to get stuck in the traffic and arrive as late as they did.

We were always likely to struggle without an experienced centre back, but I thought Senior looked quite comfortable in the first half, particularly on the ball, but he was always going to be in trouble once Wilbraham came on. There’s a lot to like about Zouma, but he always has the potential for a mistake and even more so he loses his head like he did late on.

Felt we were the better side for the first half with Verlinden always looking dangerous, but Murphy wasn’t decisive enough to attack the near post and there weren’t enough bodies coming forward from midfield. Rochdale obviously recognised the danger we posed down the left and once they had made their changes - the kid at right back really is something special - we didn’t have much of a plan B. Had high hopes for Dodoo after his assist but he barely touched the ball after that.

In a weird way, it feels nice to be pissed off about a performance and result rather than the usual hard luck story. Will be interesting to see how we line up on Tuesday.

We’re going down no two ways about it. If Hill thinks he can stroll through the rest of this season he is mistaken. We need to start winning games and show we are building towards next season regardless of the division we are in. Not been impressed with Hill so far. He’s like a pound shop Ian Holloway.

Fucking hell. Honeymoon really is over.
