Can we all agree that this board is lacking in health professionals, barring maybe Kent, and Blondie.Β

I think @peelyfeetΒ appears to have a very good grasp as well. Not sure what he/she does?Β
Β

unlike fanny who has refused to qualify himself perhaps Peelyfeet would?

I’m aware of why this is being done and I’m not advocating carrying on as normal, lockdown is obviously last resort and the experts here do not think we are in that position yet.Β

I have an operation tomorrow so we might slip into the at risk category, but I’ve got my vitamin D stashed in case. πŸ˜‚

I just don't get why folk are skeptical about the actions people are taking to reduce the risk, or sneering at the numbers in this country so far

a shit storm is on the way, we're only at the beginning, we just need to look abroad to see what's coming

yet Clockwise Casino thinks people die everyday anyway, so we're worrying about nothing

if the numbers do stay low, it'll be through proactive measures, and not because people have over reacted

Just gone into self-isolation this morning.

My partner and I are both coughing, although I am slightly more persistent. She's a teacher at a school in London, so it really wasn't worth the risk.Β

It wasn't a decision taken lightly as her school is massively short staffed and it almost felt like a stitch up.

The cough seems to be triggered by warm air or moving around, If I am sat still it's not an issue.

The frustration is that there is no real way of knowing either way.Β

Absolutely. Perhaps part of the reason number seem fairly low at the moment is because people are isolating.

Lad is now doing online school work (interactive with the teacher apparently) so not a great problem with his education.

Aye

The most frustrating thing for meΒ is we had a warning, did fuck all, had a rethink, and even now it's all a bit half arsed.

Should we all locked up and subject to fines as in France?

Not for me no. But there will be people who feel we do.Β
but if we are told to lock down I will 100% obey it that goes without sayingΒ

at the moment I’m limiting social contact and contact with my family/in laws alsoΒ

I'm with Esco, we pay the government to make the decisions, we are rightly proud of our status as a nation at the forefront of scientific research and knowledge.

More than happy to follow the advice, my opinion isn't worth shit. I sell hot water tanks for fucks sake.

Same. In laws have taken heed and lad isn't going round as he usually does on Wednesday.

Mum cancelled her visit to Bournemouth and has rebooked the train ticket.
