We've gone from 10 to 104 deaths in 5 days. 

That means there was possibly 10K cases 2-3 weeks ago.

That means there's possibly 300K infected now - 1 in 200.

yeah - depends on how good your immune system is.

One theory is that if you've had lots of colds and flu in the past, this will weaken your response to it, because your immune system will initially create and send a variety of ineffective antibodies to the cells, instead of putting energy into creating new antibodies.

Viruses attack and then hijack the part of the cell that creates cell replication, to make more viruses, which then burst out of the cell and attack other cells, and so on. Sending an incorrect shaped antibody is ineffective, and doesn't stop this from happening.

the theory explains why the young are good at fighting this - they don't have so many antibodies in their armoury so start to make the correct one earlier.
