I get there will be an increased demand and why. But the demand we are seeing is in the main due to idiotic behavior let’s be honest

Idiot maybe

But some folk are scared stiff

I know a few in the at risk group who are genuinely planning on shutting the front door for months. You can’t blame them for filling up the cupboards before they do it

How many people are in the at risk groups, 12m?

Blood type might affect vulnerability

Agree but I’ve not seen any elderly folk at supermarkets just Tracey with her 6 kids in tow with three trolleys full and fighting over bog rolls and super noodles

there's 7.5 Million over 70

don't know how many under 70s with underlying health issues, as there will be many overlaps - the list is;

those with BMI over 40

diabetics

those with chronic ;

asthma, COPD, Emphysema, Bronchitis, heart/kidney/liver disease, neurological disease (parkinsons, MND, MS, cerebral palsy)

spleen problems (removed or sickle cell)

those with weakened immune system either from HIV/AIDS or medicine (steroid, chemo/radiotherapy)

Pregnancies

Those undergoing active treatment of any cancer

Organ transplant patients on immunosuppresion.

quite a lot of people

The most vulnerable of our society have been classed as c1.5m people according to the radio just now. That isn’t just everyone over 70 that’s all age groups with specific underlying health issues

Some very sad and selfish people we have living among us now.

This panic buying is a knock on, the limit on items should been imposed far sooner.

If there’s any cunts who try and profiteer from this, they need outing and dealing with. Mob justice.

Im going to predict civil disorder on the streets this year.

There are three groups.

1 - people under 70 with no relevant underlying health conditions

2 - people 70 plus or with relevant underlying health conditions that present some extra risk

3 - people with severe underlying health conditions, such as cancer patients, transplant patients, severe COPD or asthma etc

Group 3 is estimated at 1.5M and as of next week will be told by their GPS to stay at home in isolation.

Group 2 is a lot of fucking people. And will likely be told to self isolate also at some point.

I'm not sure which of the groups above the fell into, but apparently a lot of blokes died in China who were particularly heavy smokers

I heard it on radio 5, but found this link just now:
