China buys into all these companies. One of which discovers the cure. Stockmarket recovers , conpany with cure worth billions. China owns 20% of companies across the world. Something huge had to happen if we were going to cut back on our emissions and get used to living the kind of lifestyle that would protect the planet. The seemingly impossible. Perhaps an opportunity to get investing into greener technologies and allow them a foothold as the economy regrows. Unfortunately, not sure how much the government and some private companies will have left in the coffers- and they may want to play a bit safe with tried and tested "stuff".
