There was a Rivi/Overtone colab on toneet, it was bloody good. 🍻

I hope there’s some left for Sunday, really want to try that.

Yeah, its 6 or more quid for some pints, but it keeps the peasants out

Well worth the investment

Bet you don’t see many folk in track suit pants

So, this farm thing, you pay £15 for the privilege of being allowed in so you can buy hipster beer at £6+ per pint?

Yes.

Youri has tickets for the entire weekend

That’s the most pretentious thing I think I’ve heard on here that didn’t involve politics

Even I couldn't go for that and I love them.

Think you got a glass.

So, this ex rural industrial site (out of the way of built up residential areas because they used to produce hazardous stuff like asbestos and arsenic on site) thing, you pay £15 for the privilege of being allowed in so you can buy hipster beer at £6+ per pint?

EFA.

As for 'peasants' - I could be Geoff Bezos and I wouldn't pay those prices...

Pine needles and milk have no place whatsoever in ale.

I reckon' these so-called 'collabs' are just to firm up mutual pacts of silence over the murky side of this industry...It prevents 'rival' brewers breaking ranks and spilling the beans/whistleblowing.

I'd be quite happy for the little Emperors to continue indulging in their fad, if only their capitulation to being overcharged didn't cause a wholesale upscaling of price across the board with ALL ale and booze.

That isn't on.

Turps is still £0.69 at the bric-a-brac shop in town.

If it was in a fancy can with a gay name priced at £11 you’d buy it

I could probably nip to Home Bargains or Aldi right now and spend about £6-7, the price of a single can from Tommy Robinson's BeerGyppery, and purchase five or six cans that, blind tasted against some Rivi Crusty Mango bongwater DIPA you'd never had before...

You wouldn't tell which from which.

That goes for all of you.

Wine tasting is art criticism.

Craft ale supping is a piss poor excuse for getting drunk on overpriced trampjuice.

I’ve tried all the Aldi craft ales and whilst they’re ok, for the main part they feel like there’s something missing.

Probably aldehydes. But I like them, so bring it on.

I'm more of a wine man these days 😁

We make wine here.

Some of it is very good but tends to be pricier than that foreign muck that’s full of antifreeze and farmhand sperm.

Buying forrin wine is basically a win for remainers

Been to a couple if decent vineyards in Kent. Very nice indeed, if a little pricey as you say. Chapel Down was the nicest.
