That place at Tonge Moor called summat like Pretzel and Spelt have it and they were also doing deliveries (or were mid-week). Think I read it wasn't so much that flour wasn't available it's just it isn't getting packaged into the smaller quantities - the Tonge Moor lot were selling it in plain brown paper bags.

April 11, 20206 yr I've just been to Tesco and I'm sure everything has doubled in price . Are we being bummed here?

April 11, 20206 yr Tesco prices have gone up make no mistake, they’ll claim its due to stock levels or supply & demand - but it’s just profiteering in my eyes.

April 11, 20206 yr Due to terrible planning not only have I got to go to Tesco today I'm also going to be outside Underpants' optimal shopping time advice. Brain's going to mush already it seems.
April 11, 20206 yr Even our local supermarket, which is an absolute godsend, and which is generally relatively quiet was busy earlier God help you up there

April 11, 20206 yr Back from Tesco, can report it wasn't busy but it's stressful enough for me to be already jumping on the bandwagon with them whites who are often reported to be "back and drinking heavily".

April 11, 20206 yr Was really tempted to go out and buy some bratwurst, burgers and beers but I don’t think that’s the best use of ‘basic essentials’.
April 11, 20206 yr 4 hours on Thursday to go round Tesco in Orpington, and I hate Orpington at the best of times. Plus, every time I go shopping seems to cost a ton, no matter what we buy (and we've already got three freezers which are pretty full) Still, petrol is dead cheap and I'm saving loads at the moment
April 15, 20206 yr For info, morrisons are offering 10% discount to all NHS staff from tomorrow on production of a valid ID.
