Unverified, we are in a Instagram and Twitter war so propaganda is rife. As I understand things a lot of people in the Mariupol region are ethnic Russian so might not have been forced. But it is the fog of information and war at the end of the day.

What does concern me is if the Russians can say the area is cleared of civilians then it becomes a purely military target.

The thing is, the very same happened in Syria, Georgia and Chechnya. Putin is pure evil and his special forces who do his bidding even worse. Only now it is on Europe's doorstep do we finally do something about it.

Russia have apparently said anyone in Mariupol tomorrow, soldier or civilian will be classed as as unlawful combatant

There are a lot on that list who are mainly western run/owned. They should be boycotted. WTF Renault is playing at is beyond me.

Difficult to boycott all those. I can do without cornflakes and talcum  powder etc. etc. but my Czech Bank is in there and I don’t have much option with that.

All these don't just supply freshly made cars you mad cunts.

They manufacture parts for your wife's Renault clio when she reverses into a bollard in Asda car park (and Ladas) 

Quite a few vehicle manufacturers 'paused' production in their plants in Russia. 

Most have already stopped exporting complete cars and sales there.

 

Fuck them all, F1 could run with other rubber I am sure. Might take a while to sort out but pressure from F1 stakeholders could result in them leaving Russia anyway.

It is time to show Putin Russia needs a world economy more than he needs his pathetic legacy.

There are ramifications for sanctions. These companies that I highlighted  are just the tip of an enormous multinational, corporate, procurement chain. 
Sanctions are important and they will have an effect but they should be targeted rather than boycotting Renault Bolton (of any other for that matter)

To be fair, they aren't saying F1 tyres are made there, simply that they still trade with Russia.

Still, they need to cut that part of their business off.

Are you sure about that? Russian money is everywhere and Chinese and  Middle Eastern. Using the term ‘Western’ is just plain nonsense.
