Its appeasement, that's all it is, and more people will end up dying in the longer term if you essentially capitulate to agressors. These aren't peace deals in the slightest.

  • We’ve reached a point where folk are so entrenched in their support for trump that they’ll side with Putin if it means not losing face on the socials. Thats where we are now. its ok

  • That Vance is a bigger cunt than Trump

As was shown on here, they were advertising for jobs only recently.

I don't know how missile sales work- but maybe if you flog enough you get extra. Just like cars.

I hope my pension managers are taking note! 😁

It’s good to see companies taking on Apprentices. Especially in Engineering. Every cloud and all that. Hopefully, this whole shitstorm will encourage the government and private enterprises to invest in home grown manufacturing. Taking it even further, with food and power. It’s not going to be easy or palatable for some (Fracking) but things will have to change.

Agree.

Not on fracking though.

Something I only heard about recently.

Couple it with fairly long lead time to get it up and running, and we're better off utilising the North Sea more for transition gas until we have more renewable a d nuclear options.

We never wanted Kyiv anyway so ner.

Whatever happened to that Russian convoy heading towards Kiev that was about 25 miles long?

Done their job according to Putin. Presumably on their way eastwards...

In reality, dispersed somewhat into "attack" positions initially, beyond that, don't know. Would imagine plenty were destroyed.

Pretty much, moved what they could and dispersed them so that they aren't sitting ducks.

Just watched Bidens speech in Warsaw. This will define his tenure.
Russia will see their arse over this.

An American President with coherence, statecraft and backbone.

Not an American President who doesn’t know the geography of his own country.

For that, we should all be grateful.

Tremendous speech. However actions speak louder than words.

I think he might have just accidentally suggested there should be regime change! 😳😁

Yeah but he tripped up getting on that plane!

And he’s old.

The simple truth is that Donald Trump could never have delivered a speech like that. Not even fucking close.

Put him there tonight, and he’s spend 27 minutes waffling about how great he is, and one minute telling everyone that Putin is “ok really, you just need to make him think you’re his friend”

Fuck me. Thank Christ Jesus not having to sort this shit out.

They've just put a statement out saying he didn't mean it :)

Of course he meant it. The majority of the world agree, including Russians. The denial is pure politics.

He’s openly criticised Putin on more than one occasion. He’s got to back it up.

The Kremlin cat will have been booted around the gaff after that

DT would have sold Ukraine out weeks ago!

And there's no way NATO would have acted in as unified a way if he'd been in charge. Nobody would have known what the hell they were doing.

We'd have seen a complete capitulation from the west - and the hastening of its demise.

Thanks Christ he's gone. I mean I'm not saying Biden is Jesus or anything but still, thank Christ he's gone.

I think you're probably right.

It's the political equivalent of claiming that you are 'fishing' on here! 😁
