Yes it is but that is due to the way money was farmed out due to the collapse of the Soviet Union. But Russia as an economy is very small compared to its land mass.

The sanctions already in place are hitting hard, pile on that pressure and Putin has to defend his position to his own people more and more. That imo is how this war ends, from within.

Yes I agree. The sanctions should be targeted so that they hurt Russia though with as little pain as possible for those imposing them. Putin has and threatens to nationalise companies that ‘pullout’

I read that most of the McDonalds are still operating as the franchise’s run them as an independent business. 
Not sure if that would happen with Renault. The French government should show that it does support Ukraine as it says and pull the plug on its part owned company.

How do you propose to get a ceasefire, without capitulation and acceptance of his demands? Just can't see him backing down at the moment.

More suggestions today that his troops are running out of fuel and food again, so how much more is he prepared to throw in?

WMDs are no doubt a possibility, but then there is the risk to him of something stronger from NATO or indeed less support from China. 

Really don't know what the answer is- perhaps maintain the status quo, more equipment for Ukraine and let them degrade Russian forces and morale at home, in the hope of him being overthrown from within.

 

Nato and allies needs to give Ukraine enough anti missile/aircraft/tank kit that they are falling over it. Add in drones, from Turkey if possible as they know how to use them and see how the ruskie twats get on then.

I would love Putin to get potted from within the cunt.

I think they're getting plenty of them, it's the long distance rocket/missile systems that the Russians have that are too far away for these defensive missiles.

Doesn't seem nato wants to give them anything of a similar nature for fear they be seen as offensive weapons. At least, nothing official of that nature.
