We were discussing how important it is, otherwise without that through narrative you are lost, because (and how sad is this) even though she's probalbly end up with an 8 in maths, she thinks the only way to survive is to go into finance! But as I said to her Im always amazed that folk dont know much about where they are from, how it was created and what happened locally. I said thats why being good at humanities is important, probably the most important thing, because as soon as we forget how we ended up here, dark shit starts happening. Its why people think Islam is a 'backward' religion without how it these counties ended up as they are. Its how America elects their current leader. Its why we blame 0.5% of the popultation for all our ills. Its why we don't hold our leaders into account. There is precedence for people being stuck in HOL to get round any rules. They could appoint Boriss daughter I suppose .
