Newport (A)

Hopefully we’ll be going down there on the back of three points against Colchester.

Newport are back in Newport after two games in Cardiff to give them a chance to rest the pitch at Rodney Parade. Just in time for it to host Dragons RU v Northampton on Saturday night. FFS. Fingers crossed it stays dry or the pitch will be knackered for Monday.

Need to play 1 game at a time and 3 points against Colchester is a must, then see what Monday brings. last thing we want to do is underestimate Colchester and balls up.

Lee, everytime

Sooner we get sarce back the better

Really good half that. Only thing to grumble at is not scoring. More of the same and we will be fine.

We’ll lose to a scrappy fucking long throw goal. I can’t believe how pissed off I am that we’re not comfortably winning - I can see this defeat coming, it’s what we do.

Wouldn’t like to be sharing conversation with you in the trenches Edward.

Another half without a shot on target!, least this hasn't been dull, lots of endeavour.

To borrow a phrase from Rudy - calm down you fanny.

Not wasted here mate. He’ll be in his element.

And there goes the whistle 😉

Keep playing like that and surely a chance will go in eventually. On a side note , our set pieces need some dramatic improvement.

How are we not winning ?

To slightly misquote Buggernation Street "Were as cautious in front of goal as Len Fairclough in the shallow end"

The Portuguese

Sorry but it needs another word after “the Portuguese”

This commentator uses the term every week and it just doesn’t sound right. A bit like calling Doyle the Irish or Gilkes the English.

Much prefer listening to the opposition commentators

That Scottish bloke spends most the time reading out tweets and for half the season i thought we'd signed someone called Glen Muir

That miss from Kieran Lee was unbelievable , i've got a border collie that would have put that away.

Lee should be on a hatrick terrible misses

The commentator today is like pulling fucking teeth   but I know exactly what you mean regarding ours.

I'm sure he would have given us the lead 😊

“Are you fucking winding me up now?” Being screamed at the tele tells you everything about the chances missed

I agree it sounds daft but it is the right denonym.

I hope we dont regret those misses we need an early goal in the second half and then we will better this lot

Fired more blanks than the Territorials

Should be at least 2 up . Need to get the ball in the box earlier . Everytime we cross it they look shit at the back.

are you not watching?

Lee twice in case you didnt know

Best we’ve played for weeks but yet again, no composure in front of goal. Isgrove and Jones been superb, as has John down the left and Thomason in midfield but yet again Fonz done nothing, just not involved. Early swop for Maddison down the left for him for me.
