Newport are back in Newport after two games in Cardiff to give them a chance to rest the pitch at Rodney Parade. Just in time for it to host Dragons RU v Northampton on Saturday night. FFS. Fingers crossed it stays dry or the pitch will be knackered for Monday.

Port Vale - ok for 45 mins 

Walsall - ok for 45 mins 

Forest green - ok for 60 minutes 

colchester - good for 45 minutes 

newport - good for 45 minutes 

if you want to do anything in any league you’ve got to be playing better for a more sustained period than that. Especially at the business end of the season. Merge all of those together and we’ve been OK since Cambridge.
