Exeter City - Home

The day the nightmare ends.

middlebrook heaving with tailgate parties and jubilant fans

Massive celebrations by Nat’s statue

A long long overdue reason to celebrate something genuinely incredible given years of disappointment.

Or a damp squib that brings out the misery-hungry naysayers?

Absolutely. Never a free kick. Fully deserved their winner, mind. Exeter were the better side by a mile in the second half.

We will have to win next week, Morecambe won’t bottle it next week, better goal difference as well. Very worried.

We just looked totally out of ideas when they equalised,  needs to be much better next week.

Gutted. Fucking gutted.

Dreadful mate . We can't afford another performance like that 2nd half.

We've been doing this a lot over the season, that's partly what's cost us

Our fans are fucking idiots too

We not done it for a few months though , too many experienced players went missing today.

How so, what was it like down there?

Second half was one of the most lethargic midfield performances this season.

Didn’t you hear the fireworks?

Not confident of going up at all; if we don’t beat Crawley it’s league 2 again next season.

Yawn any chance of a second goal, NOPE

Another poor home performance deserved to get beat all the hard work last week gone to shit

The only consequence of the late goal is that we can’t be champions

Nope, switched off as soon as it was over as I'm fucked off.

What dates are the playoffs?

I hate to be negative, but I fear we won’t get anywhere near it if we end up finishing fourth.

Wasn't a free kick. He dropped.

That said the body language of Fonz when it was given was poor.

We seemed at sixes and sevens second half, perhaps nerves came back into it.

Totally fucked off and down about that second half.

midfield which seemed a strength got over run. Wide players disappeared.

However time to get behind manager and players.

When your passing game isn't happening it helps if you can just knock it into your striker. They hit Bowman when necessary & it stuck virtually every time, we hit it towards Doyle & it comes back every time.

For the last 15-20 minutes we had the defence plus Williams, Thomason & Gnanuah taking it to them whilst the other 3 contributed sweet fa.

We may already have enough points to go up.

Its still in our hands.

We were 19th not so long ago.

I refuse to give up on them.

Would have been nice to do it here, but I don’t care if it’s in Crawley.

They know what’s needed.
