King's Cross is one of the best areas in London for boozing imo

It is. I was there last Saturday night. Had a splendid meal at Dishoom, although we did have to queue for half an hour to get in

Personally I hate granary Square, worked there for 4 or so years. Awful place, owned by a private firm with really over the top too expensive resturants, even the food market is eye watering. Dishoom is always nice but fuck queuing to get in.

King Charles is a good pub and that port place though.

Got a very nice pint from the market in the end.

Didn't notice a big queue at Dishoom the current hype place appeared to be Granger & Co big old queue at dinner time. Given the number of choices nearby can't say I'd be arsed queuing for anywhere.

Christ he’s full of shite. Do people actually believe the crap he comes out with?

He's a cock no mistake

But even when he posted a joke on social media about having not seen his son whilst he was away for months at uni to then meet him and his son confessed to bring a vegetarian (maybe best to watch it to see the way it was delivered)

But so many folk jumped on it to go on about how he was a terrible dad for not seeing his son more given he was at uni in Sheffield and it's only an hour from Nottingham

So aye

Folk do believe it

Today's peaceful protest in Bolton.

My lad and his mate, happened to be in town, and both, together with others were abused by marchers.

Folk on the march with Union flags and Ukraine flags crossed out.

They were having a pop at people for shopping.

They were singing from the river etc.

Lad also believed they may have been abusing the war memorial, though he was a way away and couldn't be sure.

Lots of illegal activity, and not a thing done.

His comments were over the top and crude, but fundamentally, Anderson has a point.

Theyre a strange breed. The protesting type not your lad and his mate.

There was a rather civilised, peaceful Palestinian march in Rawtenstall yesterday. No hoohah, just a march through the centre handing out leaflets. So much so, that the police presence was just two women.

Does he fck have a point 😂 Which is why he’s been suspended.

Great evidence you’ve provided for his argument though mate. A few protesters in town behaving in an uncivilised manner. That’s it proven then, the Islamists are running the place….

Next time some football lads cause trouble & start abusing folk, then I expect the local MP to release a statement saying they’ve got the mayor in their back pocket.

Chelsea fans causing a ruckus near Euston got Khan in their pocket

Of course they are.

No wonder some of the mps are getting exasperated and frankly pissed off.

Some serious shit brewing and the relevant authorities need to get a grip, and quickly.

Instead of pussy-footing around and making the situation ever worse.

Take action against protestors, they're anti Palestine, if they don't they are anti-semitic, and vice versa.. really is between a rock and a hard place.

No doubt.

However, we've been here before with grooming gangs etc.

Simply put, many on these marches are breaking laws.

They're left alone to do so, creating a two-tier approach and increasing angst.

They become increasingly emboldened, and it gets worse.

When it comes down to it, we live in a secular society. Whilst religious freedoms are granted, they cannot trump our social norms and behaviours. Otherwise, we're on a very slippery slope.

Bit like dealing with climate change, and the costs of doing so now will be less than leaving it- deal with this now, firmly and without fear of accusations or wait until we're in a far worse state.

Can you think of a single politician in Parliament at present with the guts to deal with this as it should be? Firmly crushed?

I'm struggling. They are all too frightened of daft cunts (like some we have on here) who throw the 'racist' jibe out at the least fucking thing. The same rationale which allowed the Rochdale groomers to empty their tanks for years with impunity.

Conservative Mp's inboxes are reportedly inundated with messages of support for Anderson.

I dare say opposition mps have similar but it won't get spoken about.

Anderson's big mistake was arguably providing Labour with ammo to fight back, thus deflecting from their own issues over the subject.

Well, if a load of racists are sending emails to MP's, the things Anderson said about Sadiq Khan MUST be true. Case closed.

In this discussion of course its fine to be concerned about certain aspects of demonstations and their repercussions. What's TMGJ is failing to see that rhetoric like Anderson's isn't there to address any rightful concerns but to stoke the furnance for a bulwark of his support base by spouting actual lies such as London is under the control of Islam by Sadiq Khan because he's, well, a Muslim; so any Muslin extremist he must be friends with, on a channel owned by people who want to propagate division for their own political ends and business interests. The fact people still buy this simplistic guff as 'saying it like it is' when its actually the complete opposite is really saddening.

Back in the actual real world, rather than the imaginary enemies of the state cooked up at Tufton Street to get their agenda across, is that this is not the experience of those living in London. The biggest thing that's happened round here lately isn't culture war grumbling but the creation of the SuperLoop - a really positive measure by TfL that aims to reduce car traffic and lets people without cars get around much quicker.  Bloody simple and brilliant stuff, well done Kahn and TfL.

Nice video by some bus geeks and a lovely busride ride round my lovely town:

It's an easy accusation and way out.

The very essence of why folk are increasingly frustrated and pissed off with it all.

No common sense; no shades of grey- you're for us or against. A self perpetuating ideology, which has now grasped western acceptance and humanity, and turned it against itself.

Shit is about to hit the fan.
