She's also holding the flag the wrong way round

Nowt like insulting the people she wants to claim she supports

I doubt they'll be too bothered. "Well, my house is now rubble and all my relatives are dead, but I must send an email to that girl from Chorley for holding our flag the wrong way round for 10 seconds..."

Do a Google search for ‘council interrupted by Palestinian protesters’

There are many. What have local councils got to do with Gaza?

Absolutely nothing, in the same way it's got fuck all to do with our Government. So fuck knows why there are votes being held in this country about ceasefires.

Diplomatic influence innit. These things aren't aimed at local MP's under the misguided idea that they have any direct influence, they're just the only channel available. Even a tiny bit of pressure can nudge a mind towards a fractionally different direction in the long term.

Shame they arent as vocal when it comes to denouncing Hamas, the root of this particular turn of events.

It is. But I doubt they support the abhorrent murder of innocent Israeli's either.

People like this are MASSIVE attention seekers. Not for the cause might I add, for themselves.

Yep. Hijacking a cause.

Are they not bothered about acts of genocide taking place in other various parts of the world?

If you think she was "intimidating", you are a massive snowflake. Do you not agree with Free Speech?

I strongly suspect they are. It's a 1 minute clip. Who knows what other protests/campaigns she supports that don't get any coverage whatsoever?

I agree with free speech to the point it incites hatred, violence, or intimidation

Clearly, the director of the Palestine Solidary Campaign was intending to intimidate when he said last week that he hoped there'd be so many protestors outside Parliament they'd have to "lock the doors"

And clearly the "protests" outside the constituency offices of MPs are intimidatory, as the calls for additional security measures demonstrate

My apologies, I thought we were talking about the clip of a girl in Chorley that you posted.

Ah I must have missed all those Uyghur flags dotted around the country.

The post you responded to was referring also to the Government and votes plural

Then we appear to be at crossed-wires. I was talking about individual protests like the one you posted.

So you think we shouldn't bother having Foreign Policy because Diplomacy doesn't change anything? We should just turn inwards and ignore International events?

I don't remember seeing a single person waving a Palestine or Israeli flag in real life. How much of the country have you covered in your search for a Uyghur flag? Do they even have a flag?

Fuck all

The UK has got fuck all to do with Gaza

As in, pass all the motions for a ceasefire you like, it will make cock all difference

They aren't listening to anyone from the UK

Probably fuck all, because he knows he's being over dramatic

The irony of someone complaining that his son was abused by protesters, going on to call anyone who disagrees with him a soft cunt. Muppet.

Nobody is saying there isn't a problem at these protests; or that terrorism isn't a threat, or that the victims aren't important.

I've had muslim parents try to intimidate me at work before. My eyes are wide open to this kind of stuff, but clearly a local gardener has seen it all (in the Express). The reality is that these behaviours are not representative of the majority and that a Tory MP saying Islamists are running London is fckn nonsense. All there is to it really.

He'll be back with another unrelated rant in a day or two.

No, and I'm not sure why you'd think I think that

I'm in favour of diplomacy, I'm not in favour of intimidating people to force an issue - it's the antithesis of democratic engagement
