Recently, I was lucky enough to visit a customer that is involved in all manner of clandestine cyber shit. They were telling me at the minute a massive issue is folk using cheap shitty charging cables (generally) from China, as they can contain, within the body of the connector, a tiny chip that can gain access to, and transmit data from your mobile/laptop whilst it's charging up, obviously that's pretty rare, but it's not uncommon for them to happily load malware/spyware onto your device. Apparently a load of knock off Apple Earpods were confiscated in London and they all had spyware devices in them - folk buy them because they're only about £10 instead of £150 from Apple (apparently). It's all very interesting stuff 🙂

That's the kind of thing that would make you sound like an absolute tin foil hat freak to someone like the bird at work who offers her cheap phone charger when you've forgotten your own and you start going on about Chinese spy networks... and yet it sounds completely plausible.

 I’ll not get drawn into the debate at to whether Israel are committing genocide or not, we can wait for ICJ case. But if you think something isn’t genocide because one side is ‘shit at it’ & the other continues to see population growth, then you’re not quite understanding how genocide can manifest.
