was just reading about this on the bbc

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-59501192

this bit:

Germany will ban unvaccinated people from shops and bars, unless they have recently recovered from Covid

I get how a vaccine passport would work

but not how to prove you've recently recovered

be interesting to see how they police that

The Germans do realise that the Vaccinated and Un-vaccinated (That means everybody) can spread covid-19 🙄

Do they both spread it as much as one another?

Same here.

Lock us unvaxxed up permanently hard lockdown then when you jab shaggers are still getting ill, still being hospitalised and still dying you might realise it isn't the unvaccinated that were to blame.

Sounds a reasonable idea.

We'll cope quite well I reckon.

They do that now over here. Its 6 months from a positive PCR test.

I've got til end of May before I'm a leper

Edit... Even though the lancet has published natural immunity can be anything from 3 to 61 months.

We've got an arbitrary 6 months.

Because it's too much like hard work to keep people proving they've got natural immunity.

Don't worry, just get reinfected every 6 months. Far easier than a vaccine of the same frequency.

That's my plan.

Oh dear......

'We believe that previous infection does not provide protection from Omicron,” said Anne von Gottberg, an expert at the National Institute for Communicable Diseases in South Africa.

Nope. If you're vaccinated you're less likely to catch it, therefore less likely to spread it.

Waste of breath at times.

Let's look for anything, however small, inaccurate, or disingenuous to promote a position remote from common sense.

If some of these areas in Germany had taken up the vaccine at a higher level, their hospitals wouldn't be straining under the weight of covid cases.

You're less likely to catch it, less likely to pass it on, less likely to be hospitalised and less likely to die.

I mean, what's the facking point of having the jab eh?

However it still doesn't  stop the Vaccinated spreading it if they have it 🤷

It does actually. You're less likely to pass it on if you're vaccinated.

Nope, no vaccine can do that for any virus or disease. It does however reduce the chances that you do pass it on. Just like it reduces the chances you will catch it in the first place.

No, it doesn't stop it, but there's much less chance of them spreading it.  You obviously know this but seem determined to argue a point that is, well, pointless.
