We had covid with 4 pcr positive results. Treated with lemsip and calpol. What more do you want me to do? Check in at Bolton Royal on Facebook? Look at the governments own data. Listen to what they told us at the start. Most healthy people will cope by being at home for 10 days and having some paracetamol. For people without comorbidites it'll be just like having a cold or the flu. If you are at risk from getting pneumonia... Take precautions. I'm not saying people haven't died. I'm not saying people aren't at risk but come the fuck on... When do you think this will end if you stay in perpetual fear of a virus that is acting very similar to normal seasonal flu. Shazam.... only1swanny Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Its all fine and Dandy till it directly affects you. 2 years of absolute hell now due to this "bit of flu". If you've coped with lemsip good for you, we're not all that lucky. Quote

Whilst we can still catch it, the relative risks mean that we can now carry on with society as close to normal as possible. Quote

Not arsed about his insensitivity or otherwise. His ignorance or unwillingness to see the whole picture is surprising. Utilising data wrongly is dangerous, and he's pointed that out well where undue claims about deaths etc have been made. Then he does precisely the same himself. When such folly is exposed, its a case of insults and snide. His lot haven't suffered too badly, therefore it's not a particularly big deal. Some folk survive cancer, some don't. Etc, etc. Quote

I think Stevie is half wind up and half serious, although it may seem he has been a bit insensitive at times. Some of the un-vaccinated have genuine concerns and just because the majority of people are vaccinated it doesn't mean that the un-vaccinated are kranks, at the end of the day the Vaccination is still a choice, except I some social care and health situations. All this talk of people who are vaccinated saying don't treat them, back of the queue, lock them up etc... just because you have chosen not to have it doesn't make them lepers. Vaccine passports and the separation stuff they are doing in Germany is loopy, you think the Germans would have learned something by now. The UK doesn't want to go down any of those routes, it's to divisive and will cause no amount of social unrest. Hamming up the tinfoil whilst genuinely worried where we're heading on vaccine passports. Quote

Rudy Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 (edited) I think I only know one person who isn’t jabbed and he’s a fuckin loon Told me stuff like 5G is controlling it Full of monkey sperm that kills babies Same government who control the weather hospitals are empty The hospitals on the news are sets on Salford quays media city I’ve never heard a credible point as to why the vaccine shouldn’t be taken. Usually it was developed too quickly, how can they cure this but not cancer, not enough research gone into it. Just a flu. If it’s vaccination why do you need boosters. You're right, they're not lepers and shouldn't be treated as such. However, unless they have a valid medical or mental health issue as a reason for not being jabbed then they should be at the back of the queue for treatment. Quote

stevieb Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 And in all seriousness I've mentioned many times why I don't want it and it's never enough for the happy clapper jab shaggers...who screech "just get the damn jab" I'm on other medication that will put me at increased risk of blood clots. So I did a risk assessment https://qcovid.org/Home/Licence?licencedUrl=%2FCalculation&licencedAction=Index&licencedController=Calculation And decided I'll take my chances with the virus should I get it. I got it and was fine. I've not took a vaccine that might have had adverse reactions that would have been worse than what I had with covid. I'm not telling any other cunt not to get the jab as everyones circumstances are different. But I'm a tinfoil antivax cunt that should be a social leper Quote

But I'm a tinfoil antivax cunt that should be a social leper Health reasons I totally understand I had a major health issue a few years ago so when the vaccine was being touted I was a bit wary because I’m still on medication but the docs allayed my fears but I’d understand it a bit more not getting it for health reasons. Either way I’m Not arsed who does or doesn’t get it, I just don’t like the false information that gets spread. Quote
Escobarp Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 41 minutes ago, stevieb said: Turncoat! 😉 Remember you being reluctant for the jab in the early days Because of an issue with all vaccinations due to health reasons. Haven’t had anything for 30+ years before that. And only had this after being reassured I wouldn’t be in danger by having it. So if someone who nearly died from a previous vaccine can have it I can’t see what the tin foilers, such as yourself , are getting in a lather about. but as I’ve said don’t have it folk have the choice. But don’t expect same freedoms. you can’t access certain countries in the world already without things such as yellow fever Jabs. That’s a choice. Have it or don’t travel there. I chose not to travel to wheee I had to have yellow fever jab as I didn’t want it. My choice. And I knew by that choice what that meant in terms of restrictions. How is this different? Quote
Spider Posted December 4, 2021 Author Posted December 4, 2021 I think a vaccine passport is too narrow minded. We should expand the passport to a general “Riffraffery” option, and a number of criteria added in order to obtain one. For example - do you like lobby? No passport. Do you drink fosters/carling? No passport Do you say Kekkle instead of kettle? No passport Are you scouse? No passport It could be a game changer. Quote
