I think you're right it is, I've still not worked out what anybody is getting from scaring us yet, but I'm sure it'll all come out eventually....

I've seen some fucknuts on FB claim this is all part of some power grab, but if they ever get challenged, they never know exactly who is grabbing the power and for what purpose

3 day round trip for me as well it would have been to sit with people I don’t really get on with whilst hiding my drug habit and then sitting in my hotel bar til all hours off my tits and inevitably feeling suicidal on the journey home

I've had some great xmas dos and some really shit ones that I avoided. All depends on the workplace in my experience. The worst ones were huge expensive bashes, shit music, awful people. I just didn't go to them.

My best ones have been a decent meal in the afternoon and then onto a pub. This whole going on until 3/4am is way past me now.

As I'm leaving my current place of work tomorrow I was looking forward to going back next week and catching up with people I wouldn't have chance to in the office tomorrow; plus they are all really nice people.

The few I've had at my company have been really good, but then again, I choose to work with people I like.....and I work for a fairly generous company who doesn't mind throwing thousands and thousands of pounds at a decent piss up
