The Indian stuff hasn't been ordered by the EU, therefore there was no requirement for them to apply for a licence to the EU regulator up until now, when it has been pointed out. They wouldn't approve anything unless an application was made, that's due process. It has now gone in for approval and it will be approved very soon. Quote

Anyway, some interesting evidence coming out about mixing vaccines, and how a different "top up" may be administered. Looks like an autumn Pfizer is incoming. Set up an account online or on the NHS App to get access to your mediacal records (not the NHS Covid Tracker App) and you can view your jab records, batch numbers and dates, get a pdf or QR of the certification. Aye, found it now. It's also on the card. Turns out both me and the missus had a shot from one of the so called unapproved batches. Quote
Spider Posted July 5, 2021 Author Posted July 5, 2021 Still people are whining. We have to go back to normal. I bet a fair few people have to “isolate” from Thursday onwards though, now they’ve found out a drop of lemon juice gives you a positive test… Quote

Nic1 Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 I don't trust those rapid tests. Youngest has a cold, did the test really really faint line on positive, so we all did a test all negative..this morning she's negative and another after lunch at school, negative again. Anyway, had second jab today. The stickers have come on I have to say, slightly thicker GSM with vinyl finish. Very nice. Quote
Winchester White Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 We are self isolating at the moment despite 2 jabs and having had Covid before. How do we learn to live with it if we have to isolate every time someone we come into contact with catches it? Quote
Nic1 Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Yeah sister is isolating after two of her pupils tested positive, she's had two jabs and her tests are negative. I just think folk will stop doing the tests. I have to say 10 days when you clearly don't have it seem a bit much. Quote

Asking for a friend Quote

Spider Posted July 5, 2021 Author Posted July 5, 2021 Johnson is mainly a cunt. But I’m with him on this stance of letting people use common sense. Let the whining fuckers bicker and moan on the internet, most of them are folk who just don’t fancy going back to the office. It simply doesn’t kill people anymore than regular flu because of the vaccine now. If you’re scared of it, stay at home. But you’ll need some savings or an extremely sympathetic boss. barring a really nasty variant, it’s time to act like normal human beings again. The hand holding is over. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Keep pushing those vaccines, and don't ease up as we exit restrictions. Quote

bolton_blondie Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 So i can go to football, a gig or fucking tesco and not wear a mask but the NHS are still making us wear one in our office. Thank fuck im off for 10 and a half months after Friday. Quote
Cheese Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Enjoy your couple of months of "freedom". Guarantee we'll be locked down again in September when another mutation runs riot because a load of utter pussies might "feel oppressed 😥" by being asked to occasionally wear a mask indoors for a few more weeks.
