Covid-19

Slow news day, or end of the world?

”Aggressive” new variant has landed in Moscow. Makes people, even those that have been vaccinated, more poorly than previous types.

Time for Uncle Joe to push the button? Short term pain.

Back like a bad viral strain.

22,000 new cases and 3 deaths. The last time we had the same amount of new cases was the end of Jan, but back then we were having 1200-1500 deaths per day.

Who's left to still catch it, can only be kids now surely?

You can still catch it even if you've been vaccinated

Aye, but surely you should have much milder symptoms.

We are going to have to learn to live with this now.

I agree

It'll be another month or so before everybody is properly double jabbed though I'd have thought, and thats when I expect they'll lift restrictions. We'll still need to do LFTs for international travel and large events for another year or so as well I'd have thought.

Never say never. The current Home Secretary has broke the ministerial code twice and despite being sacked previously then got promoted to her current position.

BoJo paid his American trans double for shags with 100k of taxpayers money.  There are no more moral standards in politics.  Hancock went because he was shit.

Different scale entirely.

The most high profile minister caught breaking his own rules.

The affair business in itself isn't unusual and is survivable, but on top of the main indiscretion, his character would be forever called into question. Remember some of his own mps were calling for him to go.

Cannot see him getting anything else so high profile, and who knows, he may slide off into the private sector.

No doubt about that, and he'll probably earn a far higher salary as well

Get her to the doctors or A&E to check for blood clots, better safe than sorry.

Camera has now gone, so no chance to see Sajid back scuttling his assistant.

As for the leaker, will wind up dead in a bin in a back street outside a takeaway.

We are all doomed. Ah well. I'm going to hell. At least it's warm.

I would imagine the virus spread amongst them would have come more from their socialising outside of Wembley

Deaths and severe illness still low - as far as I'm aware.

Need more younger folk turning up to appointments. Get the teenagers done as well. But now's the time to crack on and open up, I'm done. My class spent the last week of term self-isolating because my they had a contact with a positive case. All took tests, all negative, but couldn't come back. Gutted for them, it's not sustainable.

Reading about that 27 year old with cancer who wasn't aloud to see his family on his deathbed back in May due to restrictions. Awful stuff.

Time to crack on.

Its simply not the threat it was anymore.

Its at the levels of regular flu and we don’t hide away from that.

This constant fucking about needs to stop now.

We’ve won. The vaccine has saved us.
