..Or is it that they have a fine balancing act between future supply and the demand that will be generated by people requiring second jabs in a certain timeframe? Not stating this is actually the case, 100 fact with knobs on, which is unusual for this forum, I dunno.

This is no place for reasoned suggestions and/or facts. It's not Bolton Nuts.

You sugged Wimbledon is being treated differently, when centre court was only half full.

The British grand prix will be full, are all the petrol heads being treated preferentially?

Trying to understand Wimbledon...

Spectators admitted as it is an outdoor event.

Then... they close the roof and it's indoors with air conditioning units running, shouldn't all the spectators leave at that point?

Not if you’re wealthy & well connected. Only peasants catch the virus.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is posh but has been threatening to sue the government as indoor venues are continuing to be closed.

Just heard that the roof is to slide over at Wimbledon making it an indoor venue again

You'd have look into the exact nature of the rules on that, but I would imaging that the air replacement once the roof is closed is adequate. I think this was built into it as part of protecting the courts from excessive moisture build up from condensation.

As for these continued suggestions that it's only for posh people, we'll that's just tripe.

It’s worse than that

a huge number of them are just desperate to appear posh.

Is the minimum wait between jabs 3 or 4 weeks?

My GP practice is badgering me to rebook my second jab (currently scheduled for 8 August). They are offering it to me now. I had my first 6 weeks ago, but the booking page says it recommends 8-12 weeks between them.

Just checked, thank fuck i’ve had the European batch of the AZ vaccine, apparently 5m in the UK have had the Indian made AZ vaccine which the EU Is refusing to accept for travel purposes.

How do you check?

Anyway, some interesting evidence coming out about mixing vaccines, and how a different "top up" may be administered.

Looks like an autumn Pfizer is incoming.

Each to their own, so long as they pay the money. Fwiw, I would pay for a day at Wimbledon, but they can shove their fucking strawberries up their arse.

Yonks since I've been... used to get a day ticket in the first week and stroll around the outer courts, saw some good tussles and had a few beers.

Got to respect tennis players, they have much more stamina than footballers, might play a three hour semi final then have to play the final the next day whilst also competing in the doubles also. Murray likened it to boxing and I can see that

Different types of exercise

Tennis players will recover quicker due to it being a endurance power sport rather than an endurance sport like football

Don't get lumps kicked out of them neither.

The fitness levels of elite athletes is remarkable in all sports.

They were talking about Mark Cavendish yesterday: the reporter was talking to the presenter and apparently we produce around 100 Watts whilst sitting down.

This mon, during peak output, is producing around 1500 Watts. Remarkable.

Presumably it would depend on the requirements of your destination too?
