Robert Malone is spreading blatant disinformation and bamboozling people with pseudoscience. His interview with Joe Rogan was over 3 hours but full of serious red flags. His major claim is that he’s the inventor of mRNA vaccines. They are actually the result of work by hundreds of scientists since the 70’s. He hasn’t contributed to this field for over 20 years. Katalin Kariko made significant contributions to the development of mRNA vaccines along with many others including Paul Krieg, Douglas Melton and Drew Weissman. She successfully made the mRNA nonimmunogenic which was of huge significance. Malone is significantly overstating his involvement. Odd that he’s desperately trying to claim he’s the inventor of technology he is simultaneously claiming is causing you harm. If he isn’t getting the credit then he’s decided no one is. He claimed PCR is not specific which is simply not true. This isn’t basic PCR that keeps being shared alongside comments related to Kary Mullis. It’s RT-PCR that is targeted to the specific genes of the virus using primers. It’s tested against controls consisting of many other respiratory viruses. It only detects SARS-CoV-2. Even closely related variants (alpha and omicron) suffer S-gene target failure due to only a relatively small number of mutations. SARS is it’s closest relative and has 1000s of differences and fails all targets. Flu has a completely different genome and doesn’t even share these genes. He supports Robert F Kennedy Jnr who is one of the most ardent anti vaxxers in the world and even Peter Duesberg. Not many people will be familiar with Duesberg but he has consistently pushed an agenda that HIV doesn’t cause AIDS. These lies have led to a huge number of deaths. His ideas have been thoroughly discredited for decades due to the significant amount of evidence. Any scientist advocating his dangerous ideology is a disgrace. Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin have shown to be ineffective at preventing infection. There are many studies showing this. There are countries that use Ivermectin regularly as an anti-parasitic such as Brazil yet it has been one of the most severely affected by covid. Uttar Pradesh started using Ivermectin in August 2020 and it didn’t prevent the alpha and delta waves. Cases are now rising again. There are many countries that have used other measures to reduce spread which Uttar Pradesh was also using. Peter McCullough’s absolute conviction that you cannot get reinfected with covid is absolutely false and was corrected by Malone on his behalf. Not only was omicron contributing to a significant number of reinfections, Malone himself was reinfected with delta in 2021 after first contracting covid in February 2020. We’ve proven reinfections with genomic sequencing long before omicron emerged. There’s plenty of real world data on the effectiveness and safety of these vaccines. In the UK this time last year we had ~60,000 cases and ~1200 deaths per day. Our delta wave was a similar case number but there were ~10x less deaths per day and delta was a more pathogenic variant. Robert Malone is an example of a good scientist who has become a bad player due to bitterness and narcissism. A scientist that could have been lauded with contributing to our way out of this pandemic but is now more aligned with the likes of the disgraced fraudster Andrew Wakefield. Just because someone speaks fluidly with conviction, they can still be misleading or lying. Unfortunately, due to these complex and nuanced disciplines, it’s been very easy for grifters and charlatans to gain huge attention and make money of the back of people's major anxieties. Quote

When this hit we were all banned from going round to see her 'just in case' (this was pre vaccines) She died of multiple heart attacks at home aged 89 with my dad and my auntie by her side. I'd not seen her for nigh on 2 years Quote
