ErnestTurnip Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Mate’s wife LFT positive yesterday and PCR negative today, think that’s 4 folk I personally know who that’s happened to now. If it had happened next week that would have been isolation from the LFT and another body missing from a school. Quote

Wife always says do a second if its positive, but they do say false +ives are very rare Quote
ErnestTurnip Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Yup, waited a couple of hours and was positive twice. Quote

ErnestTurnip Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 The false positive is possible apparently, I read up on it when it happened to a woman at work. Quote
ErnestTurnip Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 It’s happened to two different women at work as well, no idea what the odds on that are. Quote
Casino Posted January 6, 2022 Posted January 6, 2022 Not sure if the sick pay thing was on this thread LBC and a daly mail type up in arms this morning as 'unison and a teaching union are telling members they can have a month off without proof' Im paraphrasing but youve got to wonder how many are tossing it off cos they get paid Quote

Sure enough PCR came back negative. I’m now getting criticised for suggesting this is suspicious. Critical shift given to them the day before. And the third time they have done this in the last 6 months. There’s definitely loads taking the piss. Quote

Just curious I got the flu jab to gain the antibodies and got the COVID jabs for the same reason I did a year of virology lectures at uni as part of my degree but that was nearly 40 years ago so I’ve forgotten a lot. I’ll just crack on, wear a mask, sanitise regularly get jabbed when needed, avoid the conspirators, worry if I get symptoms, and do my best to avoid passing it on to folk if I unknowingly have it All I can do I reckon Quote
